I have finaly decided that i needed to learn animation.
I have found out that it is fun when you get it right but a pain in the arse if you mess it up.
Now to progress further i need to fix the current problem i have come across.
I had to re-create a scene because i had a floating biped & mesh animation.
What i did was weighted the verts on the mesh to the biped skeleton, posed the mesh, attached the mesh's right foot to an object. This object was attatched to a spline path constraint going down a hill i had as an environment. I created a dummy file placed it near the right foot of the biped and linked the pelvis of the biped to the dummy and the dummy to the object that is follwing the path constraint.
When i saved the file it was all ok.
Then i opened the file this morning and i found out that the animation i made and worked hard on was floating above my environment. I wanted to keep the file as it is when i close the program and save the file as is. I dont want a floating biped skeleton because i haven't the slightest idea of how to get it back aligned with the path contraint even though it still follows the spline path it isn't no were near it.
How can i fix this and stabalize my future biped skeletons to environments.
Thanx
