CGTalk - Cloud Wipe Mask

I'm trying to make a transition where a scene is swallowed by a black creepy cloud, coming from the outside of the frame and shrinking to a dot in the center.

Anyone know of a method to do this...?

Hmmz so u want a real looking cloud...or just a black bubble in the shape of a cloud to come from the right and then cover your screen, and after that resize it to a black dot to the middle and then another background appears???
