Hi Mibus,

looks like you put away your New Linux Box and give 3D a try :) One little hint maybe you zoom out a little bit with the cam so the whole face and not just the Iris will get visible...

 :)

Hah :-)

I was just testing the thread thumbnail upload stuff... took me a while but got it all working properly!

I love adding new stuff :)

Hey Mibus,
The thread thumbnails are a great idea , it will get people looking at different threads I think.

thanx ... great idea  ... so ... are you entering ???

Mibus

Nah, I'm not entering.

Two reasons:

I'm a Ballistic employee, and a CGTalk admin, which strikes me out.
I'm artistically challenged ;)
Meanwhile, if anyone has any trouble uploading, I'm your man!

Yeah great work.

Must be hell on the servers though. The other day a thread was started about the pages being slow, now this to add to dynamics.:curious:he you guys wouldn't happen to have any cpu's lying around 'cause you know me and m...*blah, blah*

adel3d: I loved your GSO image, I hope you do as well this time :)

nebezial: It's a surrealist post-modernistic piece detailing the servant-like submission of yellow to red in western culture. Or something ;)

jmBoekestein: Most of the load on that server is pure I/O, and most of that is only in a small block of time. (It's because we have log analysis and backups running at the time, so the web server has to compete a bit more than normal for resources).

To everyone else, I'm glad you like it and thanks for letting me know - if you have any other ideas, feel free to drop me a note!

Also, if you really want to keep track of the challenge stuff, the RSS feed for the challenge forum also includes the thumbnails if you use a full rss-reader (eg. Thunderbird, but not Firefox).
