View Full Version : Distorted UVs after save

Hi!
I'm pretty new to Maya (used Max for years). I'm using Maya 5.0 and my problem is this:

After having modelled an object, laid out the UVs, applied a texture and added Smooth with 3 divisions everything looks fine and I save the scene...

The next morning I open up the scene and the UVs are distorted beyond recognition. This is the same in the last three incremental saves in wich there are UVs laid out but not yet added smoothing. The distortion is identical in all the saves.

Is this a problem I can fix, or is it perhaps some kind of bug?
I hope someone can help
