Hi guys,

First of all, sorry for addressing such a silly question.
I am about to start implementing a project and cannot decide whether to use C++ or Java.
The only reason I was preferring Java was the UI API's.
I am not familiar with QT. Could anyone tell me how much time will I have to invest in learning QT.
Moreover, the only UI I require is some Graph plotting and window to take input.

QT isnt the only interface toolkit for C++, do a search in the forum, this was discussed some time ago. You should also take a look at FLTK and wxWindows, whatever you do, dont start with MFC (part of the microsoft framework).
