All we are slaves(more or less) of the master MR.MONEY
G'day Ivan!

03-30-2005, 03:55 PM

03-30-2005, 04:05 PM
Thanks to all.
Good luck too and sorry for my horrible english...
03-30-2005, 04:53 PM
A lttle more..
03-30-2005, 06:42 PM
Ese Ivan, buena suerte. Great job!
03-30-2005, 08:35 PM
step by step.... I´m happy with the idea but I have to find the way to make the atmosphere credible.
03-31-2005, 05:16 PM
Let´s go with the face..(next step)
03-31-2005, 05:56 PM
Nice interpretation of the theme.
03-31-2005, 06:13 PM
shoe looks real,great job!
03-31-2005, 06:17 PM
Ivan, nice job! I like the eyes looking up though. Your first sketch really conveys that excellently.
03-31-2005, 06:35 PM
Damn good sketch. The story is a bit obvious and simple, are you OK with that?
BEST OF LUCK.
03-31-2005, 06:41 PM
Nice to see an idea thats not as heavy on the fantasy theme, one that gets straight to the point. You could always address suk-grigorij's simplicity point by going to town on the lighting, make it more dramatic that way. But I rather like the fact it's obvious and not over complicated.
03-31-2005, 06:52 PM
I think the direction of the eyes of the sketch is better than in the painting.
anyway, the shoes are fantastic!
03-31-2005, 07:38 PM
Well.. I´m fighting hard with the face expression and I´m not still sure If I am in the right way.
03-31-2005, 07:40 PM
we think alike : D
04-01-2005, 09:10 PM
04-01-2005, 09:13 PM
G' day Ivan, looking good

04-05-2005, 11:33 AM
A closer wiew of my image.
04-07-2005, 12:17 PM
04-12-2005, 07:11 PM
More or less is the same image as the concept sketch ´cause I don´t search to
make a draw with line. I prefer to paint as oils
04-12-2005, 07:33 PM
your illustrative style is beautiful, it reminds me '40's and '50's style posters... I love your colouring capabilities...
04-12-2005, 08:59 PM
I really like the idea, and I have to say that your coloring job is suberb! The facial expression and the lights, everything just "makes sense". You have a really bold "professional" style, keep it up!
04-12-2005, 09:22 PM
04-19-2005, 10:21 AM
i´ve had an accident with the archive and i´ve lost a lot of work...but I will survive!!
04-19-2005, 10:25 AM
dude, there is something in the style and the way u use colour that makes me think Alex Ross, and if u know who hw is ull also know how big a compliment this is:thumbsup:
04-19-2005, 10:37 AM
nice skin detail
04-19-2005, 12:53 PM
I´m painting the buildings of the background ´cause I want to complete the composition of the scene.
04-19-2005, 01:02 PM
Nice idea, well painted. I particularly like the guy's expression, like he's dreaming of a better life. Good job! :D
04-20-2005, 09:33 AM
I´ve found my rithm and now I paint fster and with a clearer idea of where I wanna go
04-20-2005, 08:56 PM
Hi, your painting is sympathetic nerve as a whole and recalls me, the world of Rockwell, you should re-examine the arm and try to improve the short cut, good luck
04-24-2005, 05:15 PM
CColoring a little more.
04-24-2005, 07:04 PM
With a little bit more effort, it may became a real piece of artwork
04-24-2005, 08:32 PM
I´m paiinting uder the raaiin...
04-24-2005, 09:28 PM
Whoa, it's been some time since I lurked in here but I love what I see! The background is awesome, gosh and all those pretty details! I love the striped pants of the "master" guy :D
04-25-2005, 06:07 PM
Now I´m changing the light because I want heat and a more dense and heavy atmosphere
04-27-2005, 09:18 PM
Now The next step is to make all more detailed with..a little of patience
04-27-2005, 09:35 PM
