Hello, my name is James I am a senior in highschool and I love to direct, edit movies. Me and my friend earl have been making films for the past three years and thats about all we do now is work and film movies or think of ideas for a movie.
I am currently working on a short film called "The Silent Night" which is going to open up as a storybook with a narrator speaking (I have an artist who is going to paint pictures) An the narrator will be reading the story i made up about this town where its christmas eve and all the kids are waiting for santa clause except for one boy who had never believed. I am then going to get my artist to look at a scene im going to film of the main actor sleeping and have him paint it for the storybook and im going to fade the storybook picture to the real scene .
Basically the plot in the movie is its going to be a silent film with only music no diolouge im going to add alot of paintings in the movie like cartoony and make it look sort of like a tim burton film and we are going to see the boy hearing noises from santa and hes going to be searching around the house then he is going to finally see him eating cookies and milk from the kids fridge and then were gonna cut out and see a alarm clock turn to 6am and show feet of kids running down steps and stuff then we are going to see their faces all frightend its going to show no present under the tree. This is when it fades away and pans pass about 6 empty egg nog containers and shows santa and the boy next to eachoter passed out from drinkin to much egg nog and santa is going to wake up and have a frightend face. Then the narrator is going to be like wait no this isnt how it ends then im going to show a nice ending of the kid hearing stuff again but this time he runs outside because he hears stuff on the roof and you see santa clause fly by in a sleigh(WHICH I NEED HELP WITH) then it is going to freeze the frame and turn into a painted drawing and the book will close and say the end.
<font color=red> Basically what i need help with is maybe a 3d model of a book closing and opening so i can stick these pictures in because i have a feeling if i make a real book this is going to look stupid.
I also need help with santa clause flying across the house ... i know how to matte the sky out and put stars in and a moon but i dont know anything about animation with 3d models or anything
Oh yeah by the way I have an almost professional composer a very good artist... very good actors and im a decent director so this isnt going to be a bad film where kids just mess around and make stupid stuff
If you could help me with anything please let me know we will be filming the first shots thursday and probally friday morning
