Hey All,

I'm new to the site and new to animation. I've recently bought the Maya Personal Learning Edition so I can get started into modeling and character animation. I have some ideas that I've been getting really into in my sketchbook, like drawing scenes and sets. I will be doing more of this during the summer when I have more time of course. But, I was wondering, how do you guys get those awesome music files I always hear. In a couple of short films some of you guys use awesome music with no lyrics, and I've been trying to find a place that has that, but I don't know where to look so any help with that would be greatly appreciated. Also, I was also wondering if anyone could give me any tips on character animation, and if any of you guys have great experience with creating short films, I would love to hear some tips from you, as I have a really cool idea I want to work with, so any tips and advice would be helpful. Well most people ethier are composer or have friends who are composers who do the music for them. I do have lots of free music that you can use for videos though if you want I can put it on my webserver and give you the link or something If you have AIM IM me or just reply if you want me to put it on the web as a zip

Awesome, and yea, I don't really have any friends that are really into Computer Animation as much as I am to actually work together on a project, so that's why I go looking around the net for stuff. So, yea...I'll PM you unless there is a certain time you can get on AIM that would be good for me as well. I will be on tonight if you are available. Also, if you are experienced with creating Animated shorts I hope you don't mind me asking a few questions if we are able to get on AIM? By the way, thanks for replying....^_^.
