View Full Version : Paint Effects Brush Image problem

hi ..

i'm using paint effects to create some custom trees and needed to edit the brush textures comes with Maya. but i cant seems to open .tif and .gif files under \maya\brushImages folder:eek: . i really need to open and edit their color and textures for my own use. any solutions? i tried using fcheck to convert to eg .tga
but it somehow give weird alpha fringing problems after i saved the edited one from photoshop.
i'm sorry if this has been discussed and answered.

well, as i saw, most of those images are maya iff's with jpg, gif extension... maybe it helps somehow :D
