We are seeking a Real-Time Cut Scene Artist to work on-site at a large gaming company in San Diego, CA to work on a project for the new Sony PSP console.

Job Description:
You will be responsible for producing cut-scenes using a custom cut-scene editor, utilizing art assets produced by the team. Sequences will be scripted, edited and viewed via Sony's custom cut-scene editing tool. They are to be used in our in-game engine technology, not as rendered FMV sequences. The artist will be required to learn our custom editor quickly and become proficient in producing a high quantity of cut-scenes at a very high level of quality under a tight and
demanding schedule. There may be a need for some modeling and texturing of extra cut-scene specific artwork that would need to fit perfectly into the art style already set. The cut-scenes produced will be put through a rigorous approval system to ensure high quality, engine efficiency and that we keep on track with our meticulous pre-defined art style for the project.

Requirements:
- 2+ yrs. modeling in Maya
- General knowledge of game production
- Modeling, animation and scripting skills are essential
- Ablility to adapt to new editing tools quickly

- Cinematic storyboarding layout a plus
- Texturing ability a plus
- Lua scripting a big plus.
