traditional 2D :)
I see all making good stuff in 2D and 3D on their pc, but i think we should not forget, that we can do it also by our hands.

Well I'm impressed.

That's a really excellent painting, you have some real talent there. Nothing more to say really, keep it up, great work.

But, I can't find the undo button when I paint using real paint.:D
Nice painting, especially the face.:)

the face is my favorite part too.

After painting and scribbling in various traditional techniques for a long time, the computer is a good change of pace. The part I don't like about it is the fact I can't mix colors together to get the perfect "mud". Also a printout isn't the same as holding a painting in your hands.

I'll always continue work the old fashioned way (nothing like getting your hands dirty).

Uhhh... I don’t think I can do that :hmm:, my artistic talents were pretty much born on a computer. Although I do cell animation which is by hand :). Yeah you did a really nice job on this piece, I think the hair could use some more detail to match the face though.

The face is quite good, it does look a little flat to me. But I am no good at making depth with water colors. I think you have done a good job.

I agree with sleepless, there is nothing like getting your hands dirty, and making a mess. The part that is never fun is cleaning up afterward. As for the "undo" when you paint, of course, there isn't one. That's why we call them "underpaintings"

As in "Yeah I meant to paint the arm like that, in sixteen different positions, in oil. It's all part of the UNDERPAINTING."

It's much harder to do the underpainting when going digitally, because there is no real depth to the pixels. That is unfortunate.

I'm actually way more into the hair than the face ;) Cool work!
