Tonight I'll just move this thread to WIP Critique. Hmmm, I expect not to finish this anyway on time, since this is my first challenge joined.

This is my concept, I entitled "Si Puti" or in my native tongue it means White(which is a common name for dogs).
Though not really that shown in this sketch, my Theme is loyalty of the servant dog, there is this soldier(well actually I intend to put at least 3) who will do something bad to the girl, the servant dog "puti" is protecting his mistress from the hand of this soldier(s). Actually the design for the soldier, I haven't yet finish but working on it, Holds a metal wip and the dog though not that interpreted is blooded and cleaved in this scene, and the face of the girl(though not shown clearly in the sketch ) I intend to put emotions of worry for her fateful servant and her fate. The scene I intend to be as dramatic as I can.

These are my models for the entry. Been Busy for a while I intend to do the hairs and fur in the last stage. All are made in Maya 5. Darn, got to have Zbrush for modeling.
Texturing shoud be finished in 2-3 days. Most of the texture will rely on maya's shading. so there wont be a problem I hope.

here is the texture for my girl character.
Usually I just map the color and bump map for the character, I don't really mind about diffuse and specularity. I just let the shader do it for me. ^__^. For my color textures, I don't really take a picture and try to go npain UV mapping it and editing it. Shades are usually done shaders. Only the eyes and some highlights are my concern for doing my color map.
Man, been busy for a while. i don't think I'll be able to finish this on time. I'll probably just move this to the WIP.

Here is what i did for the body. Same as the head i just make a simple color map with not much of a detail, and walla a colored girl.
As you can see, I placed a Noise texture(incircled in red) to my shader as a bump. Since this is a girl and it doesn't supposed to have many wrinkles in her body. The noise for me is a good simulation of the roughness of the skin. Seen above is my render with mental ray and a closed up of the armpit to better show the effect of my noise bump ^__^.
The cloth probably I would just use cloth shaders which I gathered thru the months <since its only a few months since I work using maya or in general 3D :( >

Here is my soldier. Same as the girl thiugh nothing fancy, just did the same as the girls head, only i have to make more highlights on the color. Since this is a man and supposed to have more discoloration in his face.

NOw for the whole body. Well there is nothing much to explain here since this is just shaders edited a bit to have various metal and cloth distinction. Dirt maps has not been made yet and I intend to put some badges and numbers which should be in his armor perhaps tomorrow
