This is my first time posting here and this will also be my first attempt to digitally paint this sketch. Constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated as well as Photoshop tutorials that will help me paint it and make it look realistic

humm.. the pic looks fine so far.
IMHO, the lines of her face are a little to detail-defined and she looks more like an old lady than samara -- i am guessing that its samara from the Ring?
there symmetry of the nose, mouth is a little bit off. but that could be just because of the hair and lighting.
and i thought she might look more demonic if the head is tilted more downwards.
that's sort of my view. its looking good so far. sorry i don't know any tutorials on colouring (i am not much of a colourer myself)

yep it's the girl from the Ring, and I agree that she looks a bit old but hopefully that will change once I start rendering it and smooth everything out
