hey,

i read the mega huge post dealin with Subscatter. It was really helpful. Thanks Master Zap , Stahlberg for the many post and opinions.

well after reading those i tried to get a nice SSS effect on one of my characters that i am using for a short that i am doin. I want to give him a soft nice feel and lookin skin. I tried the SSS because i have seen how it gives a nice soft feel to human skin so i figures it would or shall i say should work on my character.

below i post a few pics of how he looked with the subscatter and a pic of the network i have so far. to me he is lookin a bit to plasticy, i dont know, maybe u guess and state your opinions.

the charater is a a little trouble-some guy....who cant keep himself out of trouble. I am very open to suggestions of what color i should use for his skin . and suggestions on how to make his skin look not so plasticy

for the network i used the MISSS_fast_skin ....take a look at it . the orange file texture is plugged into OverAll color ( yeh Stahlberg ...it worked thanks) but it doesnt get the full color of the map. It is usually gets darker than the map . any ideas on how to combat this?
