It's pretty fast shading the vertex's. I'm having to raytrace because of the transparent poncho, so i'm using this to add a little bit of sky shadowing.
Just wait till i give her some hair :)

Mine's pretty much done. Don't have time to model the mask and glasses. I'm not satisfied with the lighting. I wanted to add some GI, but the transparent poncho was casting nasty black shadows.
I may revisit her when i have some more spare time. She may not fit in with the idea behind this months challange. Which is okay i mainly did it for myself.
I was tempted to start again and do something a bit closer to the spirit of the challange, but then there's always future challanges.
Overall i'm quite satisfied, it was a great learning experience for me. Especially looking through the wonderous examples of talent everyone here has shown. Truely inspiring. I'm just a little envious too :)
If anyone is interested i'll post a wireframe, and some different views.

use brazil or V-Ray for transparencies and GI if you use max, i think it will make youer character more espectacular :]

I've had a quick dabble with Vray. Maybe next challange i'll do the whole GI render thing.
