hi..
sorry for the poor sketching skill,
this is my first scetch on the topic ..
the master is a faery, n the little creature is the servant who has accidentally broken the lamp...

Nice concept :)

The character looks great too! I just have a concern. I also was planning on using a fairy for my entry but I think this conflicts with the rules laid out for the challenge. It says that there has to be at least one human in the composition, and fairies are not considered human. Perhaps you know different, if that is the case then I say go for it :) I'll check back soon to see how your entry evolves :) Take care

this one's interesting...

(as for the human requirement...i thought what was required was a human component?!
so did i understand correctly if it means that like the characters have some humanistic attributes to portray a certain characteristic of a typical human...like in emotional terms, attitude like hate, love and all that stuff?!

hmmm....hope someone helps clarift this though.)

...clarified...i checked the FAQ...100%human alright....

Hi sioyong,
Interesting graohics. I can feel a fairytale spirit within. I find your bg very dynamic. Don't worry about "human factor" - guess it is not so hard to change faery to some human beeing :)
Look forward to see your graphic in a body of 3d!

Well, sioyong, it's up to you!
If you feel you can refer to your ready character and just ajust some detail - ok.
For example I (after some mistakes and experience shuarly:) prefer to define my characters in scetches and than - pass to 3d application. That speeds up workflow in complex modelling.
But as for me your fairy-tale girl has a form close to human, only some clothes can be changed (oh yes, and ears:).
Wish good work!

That's quite nice!

Her boobs are a bit off shape, and her chest muscles - pectorals - are actually linked to her upper arm, which can be fixed quite easily. Good start!

Cheers

I agree with keetmun. A little of tweaking and it is a good base for the rest of the character!
Keep on creating sioyonghttp://www.cgtalk.com/images/icons/icon13.gif

Hey sioyong,
good modelling. Really like detalisation of surface. Maybe just a bit more ellaboration of ears and lips...
But i agree with jeromoo - little time left! You can symplify a scene or something to arrive to finish in time... Well, maybe me too:)
good luck!

face looks great of the servant.. i think the girls chest needs a little more work on the lower part of the breasts.. and a little moe definition where the lower back meets the bum area..
other then that fantastic!

The overall still look great, just the woman chests need to fix it, and the servant hand, the hand locks seem easy for the servant to take off, emm...maybe you can put it slightly smaller. emm, well done and good luck!!!

Yup lighting is coming along really nice, it would be good if you could do the lighting test with some base colours, with the main colours that you think will be used for the final render. That will give you a better idea of how your lighting will turn out.

Cheers!

Just two things disturb me a little, the legs very thin and arms a little bit short...
...it's certainly the desired design... but by exemple the face appear very realistic, and for sure, we hope to see the rest realistic too... you follow me ?

Other body parts and details appears very sweet for me... good work Estelle

it's like the map is mirror to both side facial, i think u should fix that to make it more natural looking abd about the eye u should open it up give more feel to the character, it's nice texture anyway.
