Hello Everyone...

This is my first entry in a CGTalk contest...I really liked the theme and I had a few ideas come to me...

I am still a little unsure of where this is going although I do know the subject I want to portray...its a little risque and I am not sure if I can follow this idea through but I will try my best...

So here is the start of my Master for my entry...

Hey...

Thank you Versiden! I am still having trouble with the actual "Vision" for this entry...I know where I want to take it but I am still brainstorming it through...I figure if I modelled the "Master" that the vision would be clearer...

For a concept sketch...I am not really a 2D artist so will try my best...do I have to enter the 2dConcept before I start to piece my 3D models together?

Can anybody tell me how soon I have to have my concept up? I like the idea of holding it off for a while until I am a 100% sure that I have it right? Also are we only allowed to enter this contest once?

Hi liseelulu, welcome to the challenge :)

Some make their concepts in (roughly) 3d... others in 2d. And you dont have to be a master at 2d, but it if you posted your idea maybe we could give some comments. Take your time... we'll see what you come up with :)

Hey...

Well I have had some computer troubles but I am all sorted now... So here is a render of my Master guy... I will be doing better surfaces for him and I will have him rigged today but he is mostly done...

I have just started on the slave! I have done a sketch for how I see the finished composition... I found it hard gettin the way I see the scene lit into the 2D but C&C very welcome!

For anybody who might not have understood my AMAZING :arteest: artwork!!! This image is going to portray my Master and Slave entry as a Parental figure abusing a child. I know this is a Taboo kind of thing But Yeah it happens and the idea jumped at me from when I first read the theme for the contest...I really believe I can portray subtle emotion into these characters! Along with some other subliminal details within the image.

I have started on modelling the bed and the bedroom. I really want to work hard on setting the lighting up to enhance the image and the mood...I have started to pratice already any C&C would really be appriciated.
