ok first of all i never done any plugin yet for max this is gonna be my first and most probably not an easy start i know... i do have some knowledgy of c++ thought..

here is the thing i been reading arround the discreet spark forums about lotsa and lotsa trouble of the max sdk with VS .net 2003 and thats the ide i use.. the question is can i use this ide to work with maxsdk??? second question si`n reading the help now but it seens to be a max 6 help of the sdk isent there a max 7 help¿?..


and third and final one any recomended reading or link beforei stard i have a working version of the script done in maxscript. but its soo slow that i wanna give sdk a shot.

hi,
are you using the RIBit script? if so, i'd be interested to know what knid of scenes are you exporting that are slow. are these scenes with a lot of geomtry? a large number of particles? high detail objects?
of course a plugin will surely be much faster, i'm just curious to know.

i have no knowledge of the SDK, so can't help you there...
anyway, good luck with this project.

hmmmm know i dident know there was a RibIt script i gonna check.. but no i`n not using it i did my own.. and its slow with everything...

got it and taking a look at it.. may help me with what i want to couse mine is pretty simple i still not sure how to work with UV coordites yet.. still i want to do it the api way
