CGTalk - Painting skins??

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. Can you tell me where I can learn to paint skins in Photoshop? (preferably a characters face, but anything will be useful). I've looked around the net but can't seem to find much on the subject.

But do you know a tutorial where they show how i can paint textures like that!?

Id also be interested in seeing a GOOD skin texture tutorial, one thats more than dodge n burn, we all know that. Is there a tutorial on making those really nice skins that have the specular and bump map set with it? If anybody knows one, PLEASE let out the secret! Thanks!
