Title: Island Paradise
Name: Brian M. Dote
Country: United States
Software: CINEMA 4D, Photoshop
Used Photoshop to post-process a Vue render of this scene. Attempted to capture a warm sunny tropical day with a bit of surrealism.

I very much like the mood of that picture. The water is fine and inviting.
In my opinion, the texturing of the island seems a bit unnatural als there is no 'correspondence' to the water (i.e. tidelines). It seems to be dried dirt and thus unable to be there for long with a working ocean around it. But maybe that's part of the surrealism you mentioned (and keep in mind that I'm not an expert considering carribean islands, vegetation and erosion ;-) ).

I agree, a beach or some sort of tideline would make it *MUCH* better cause the water is so sweet and the trees look lovely.

I wouldn't mind visiting that tiny island. I think you should make the island a little bit bigger.

You're both right... I really need to fix the "sand" texture to make it more realistic. Thanks for the feedback!
