Hello,

i have a problem with the shelf in maya 6.5 under linux. I want to add things to shelf, but i can't. I can only add things from the toolbox like 'move', 'rotate' and also I can add MEL scripts, but nothing more. For ex. i wan't to add 'Center pivot' or smth like that, but nothing happens.
I've tried every combination, but nothing was successful. Google says nothing.

P.s. I'm runing kde 3.3.2, but under fluxbox the same things happends.

i used to use linux in the past and i'm sure its the same as in windows. ctrl+shift click a menu option and it should appear in the current shelf. maybe its a diferent key. try a few ;)

Yes. I have tried all combinations before asking. None was working. That combinantion that is used to work alt+shift dont work.I have also tried all others : alt+ctrl+shift, but nothing happens

nothing works! I even tried maya 6.0! Even few times tried to reinstall them.. nothing:(
oh btw, when i press alt+shift and click on tools, it opens the option boxes for tools if there are option boxes if no - does nothing..

Hi Fronzikas,

did you try just only ctrl+shift?. Or may be ist something wrong in your keyboard.

Try to change your keyboard to another language and restart your computer.

i have tried all combinations with ctrl, alt and shift. Ok, i think that this could be my keyboard or other with linux asociated problems, as you said. I will try and inform for my results:)
