Well, firstly, it's not too fair to put something up for critique and then say "don't tell me about so-and-so because I don't want to fix it." An image is all one thing - it's not easy for a viewer to ignore the problems in it and only look at what you want them to. That might be why no one's commented on this one yet.

Obviously, you know the anatomy's wrong and I'd have to agree with you. The muscles on the shoulder blades and haunches are really not believable looking. Referencing any number of comparative anatomy books would help you know how to "invent" in those areas. I'm not sure if you're meaning for the animal to look like it's flayed, but right now, it looks like it has no skin and is only exposed muscle.

The color itself is fairly nice, however I feel there's not enough attention being paid to the edges of the form. There's a rough edge all around that makes it look cut-out with a pair of dull scissors and pasted onto the background. Not so bad around the tail, but definitely noticeable around all of the legs, the back and the head.

I'd say too, that your cast shadow needs some transparency. It should not only have more light in it, but it should fade out some towards the edges....soften those and it'll feel more believable.
