No need for thanks. It´s easy to write good things about good work :bounce: and I like this one. Makes me think, (and that´s not a thing that happends everyday).*L*. about the message you have. It´s serious stuff... and I´m really in to your explanations too... how you "handle" all the layers... I´m impressed...

Take the care of you self :) and you wife :) but, don´t pull her leg, be a nice boy... :P

Abicim ne cok boyadın şu şişeyi yaa oldu abicim gördüğüm en güzel şişe yaa bak yetişmiyecek diye korkuyorum, bu arada sıvı terazide durmuyor haberin olsun 12-13 derece saat yününün tersine çevirsen diyorum.

Hello again Everyone!
I am still ill and a little bit worse than yesterday!...
But I came back to finish what I started and don't tend to fold. It is not possible for me to lay in bed and allow the deadline to pass like that. I shall finish and try to render my 3D scene today and start on my 2D as it renders.. hopefully to finsh them both by tomorrow.

I can't give promises.. but I shall try to put an inbetween update in the process. I ffeel guilty not sharing the things I do inbetween the start and end line.
If nothing even AFTER the contest I intend on keeping this thread alive and to start posting stuff that would help you follow up on things that I couldn't post earlier

Well my freind.. now you know why I wm not on the chat line lately  I hope to be able to live up to such high standards as you expect... thank you for the support

Yes I do .. and yes I will. You are so right.. there is time still. I am not going to let it pass me by. I am not sure about the turbo boost.. but I'll do my very best!
Please bug me.. I enjoy your company greatly.

You are too kind.. but well the forum is FULL of amazing models. I am so flattered to your boosting support, but do go around... you may find one to be he better.. if you don't

My sweet Makaron... Well you complimet me soo often.. I don't know if i am doing anything better now  or not.. :)
Hehehe.. well I love my works.. and anything I try to creat.. And you don't give birth without sencing an emotion to begin with. I guess mine were a bit strong at some point as I have actually given alot of myself to both entries.

I so hope so.. My good Friend.. thank you very much for being here. I shall do my best especially for you and your simiallar. There are so many people I would like to finish these guys for.
Oh yes I kow about the liquid in the bottle being tilted a bit.. it was more to add some dynamism to the image.. like he shook the bottle a second ago and it is still waving.
I hope it will be a good result.. because some one also had warned me before on that incident.

Thank you.. coming from you I take it as a dear compliment.. Though I am not really an artist. I just lik painting.
The statue was a posting mistake.. it was meant for my 3D entry  But I try working with traditional medium often. I am much more at home there than the stuff I do in digital.

Folks I shall be getting back to work shortly and I doubt I will have the energy/time to get on the forums again.. maybe tonight.. will try to follow up on your masterworks as well then.
Good luck to all of you and take care!

05-16-2005, 06:08 AM

05-17-2005, 02:33 PM
wtf,u sculpted?? wow man, impressive, can't wait for ur final

05-17-2005, 02:38 PM
that looks wonderful....wow...you can sculpt?! finish the painting man! it looks really great!

05-18-2005, 06:05 AM
It seems I may be able to enter only with my 2D image.

I have both of them VERY close to finished.. But can't stand up straight long enough to work on them deservingly.
I'll try to have a few updates posted.. but again it is going to be some old stuff when my wife has the time for it.
I shall have to retire again, but in the afternoon I am going to be working on completing and submitting this one...

I am sorry that I have still not seen the final works of the most of you. I really lack the energy and ability lately.

I know you will.. Thank you and I hope to be able to enjoy it as things go... I think this one will make it. I fear for the 3D though.
I see you are still living the tingle from your finishing touches.. I am so happy for you with your completeing this journey of yours!

Once again.. your English is very fine
I am over flattered and blushed red from your generous valuieing. I am gong to work hard later today to deserve it. You and many of those that have followed up deserve a finished work. It's going shwey shwey... but I am going to get there :)
Merci Beaucoup!!

Calisto, Xric7, NOOB!, Oro;
No the sculpting was not meant for here.. it was a mis-post from my 3D thread.
And yes I do sculpt and I do paint. I am a bit more comfortable in traditional medium to compair to digital.
On the contrary I have not worked at all lately.. these are very old updates. I understand that it is boring to read through the posts when the pictures say enough, but to update you :I am sorry to say that for the last week my health has caught up on me. And I have not been too able to work.
Thank you all so much for your support and kind words... I so hope to not disapoint you, but things aren't too brigt on this side.

As said above.. I shall now have to go back to resting. Will be spending the rest of the afternoon on this hoping for it to finish.
Thank you all for dropping by!

05-18-2005, 06:56 AM
a big chunk of luck to you man! we're behind you all the way!

05-18-2005, 07:11 AM
thnx man....this is the last push...turbo time :D

05-18-2005, 09:46 AM
Cheers Cha0t1c1, Oro... I know you guys are gonna be there

Ok, back into business now…
I have a variety of updates to come this way..
How I plan on working is to post an update whilst the program is saving the file. It is a gigantic file so it takes a dear few minutes.

They are NOT going to be the latest forms so please don’t propose me to stop messing with such details and to get to the whole.

I am sorry for bolding the last bit but I am NOT in a physical nor mental state to repeat myself to those that don’t like reading much. I hope the bold text will enforce it to be noticed better.

Well that’s about it… I shall be getting back to work now.
Will be seeing you on the next time I save… I think I’ll be saving every hour or so.. and that would divide them up to 3 updates per saving.

To work now… til later

05-18-2005, 09:49 AM
hi black,

i just saw you are doing the 5d thing! wow.. and these head sculptures look very very fine!

it really worries me to hear you are not feeling well.. but i hope to see you up and painting soon again!!! :bounce::bounce::bounce: <-- cheering a little

oh.. i just read that the next updates are on their way!

05-18-2005, 11:47 AM
Well yes.. I AM painting.. or well doing something like it.. a bit slow though. I just hope that the rest of the image fills in the gap of my untalented last efforts.

Ok will be typing in the info's on some updates now.

Til later..
and thank you. I am cheered up greatly! :)

Finally (To me) one of the hardest bit to do:
The ‘bottom’ of the bottle.
At first I had doubts to introduce the bulge on the bottom of the glass bottle as it was in my chosen reference bottle. But it got too much in the way.
I tried to stay as loyal as I can to the line-art bit.. but it wasn’t exactly possible all through out.

Now this time any of you can jump up to me and say “Hey that is impossible” about the refractions.. but what can I say… I really liked this look.. and doubt I will be able to change it anyways

Ok now this one is the painting layer only with hues from the bottle but without the bottle none the less.
I shall be posting a bottled and reflected version again in a while just like last time.

Til later

05-18-2005, 12:06 PM
Okay, technically, i only missed 1 or 2 updates, hehehe (sorry about that my friend). Anyway, as always, your works is very professional and a big fan of your process. Now i really see that respect that you have for the Old Masters. I hope others will see it too and appreciate it like you would.

Love the sculpture that you just did   and the expression tells a lot of story of the past (whoever that maybe ;) ). The painting looks great still and i can't wait to see how everything ties up.

I hope the time left is enough for you. So hurry up my friend :argh:

cheers and will be waiting for you at the finish line :bounce:

As mentioned a post ago… the version of it with the inner reflections layers activated.
Nothing much to say here.. I have done nothing at this stage to improve the reflections.

05-18-2005, 12:12 PM
http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116418349_medium.jpg (http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116418349_large.jpg)

And last but not least, the version with the bottle layers turned on.
Again not too much to say here.

Oh wait.. there is more to say… I worked on the bottle a bit more at this stage ( Sorry it has been a while and I am not at my best)… If you look carefully you can notice the additional scratches and specularities in the outer surface.. they shall be more vivid later on.

Hope you like it!

Ps: Please do not post simple two words and a note saying “time is running”. I know it is, but I lack the energy I normally am capable of spending… so in my current physical/mental state now; stating this is very, very far from help.
Thank you all prehand for everything!

05-18-2005, 12:17 PM
I know you will Archie.. you have always been there to support and push me .. like most I have met along this path... I just hope to make it there to be aside you all.

The sculptor was for the coachman for my 3D entry. I had made a mispost that of which Robert has fixed just recently.
You have not missed too much on the updates don't worry.. I was not too capable of posting lately.

Well getting back to work now.. will be seeing you in the next post.. (There is going to be alot of them today)

05-18-2005, 01:05 PM
:bounce: :bounce: wow man ... very good u will win i feel that:rolleyes: and i hope... tic tac tic tac ...:wip: goood luck ... I pray for u

05-18-2005, 01:38 PM
Lol you never know now do you?!
Well shukur that I have friends like yourself now :)

Folks I am tired and shall move down to rest again.. I would like to post another set before I go down though.
With these I think we wold be half way through the bottles updates.. Not sure; and too lazy to count.
I want to post it's latest version.. But I really preffer to go through the steps of posting the earlier stages first.

So bare with me please.

This is a finalised version of the thumb. I said it before and I am saying it again… the fingerprint bit is NOT fun…
Even I find it a bit stupid to go on into such a detail… but the amount of pressure the finger had applied to the bottle was not as descriptive other wise!

Well it’s past now… and am I so glad it is! I think the hair was even more fun to compare!

Ohh yes… the most unforgettable second part.. the palm of the hand that would show through the bottle…

I confess that I made a BIG mess up on the line art in this department; since I completely forgot about the palm being vivid. I can not say that it is most perfectly positioned. But it looked good and is going to be mostly covered up.
The area you notice the streaks are just about the only parts of it that you shall be seeing through the remaining fingers.

Hmm… not too much of an update… I guess I just wanted to show an in-between state of the palm.. not sure. But it isn’t really complete until a few updates later…
Without need for me to say.. I presume that you could guess that this bit is not too easy, nor fun.

More to come later on;

05-18-2005, 02:59 PM
I am so honored to read that you accept me as a friend  ... bonne chance a toi

Back with some updates…

This is from the top of the ‘guy in the centre of the bottle’s head…
It was not exactly easy to do… I am sure I was funny to watch in the process… I think I applied something like 100 or so strokes per minute while working on that area. I used a 1 pixel wide brush and had it’s opacity down to 11 percent or something. At times I multiplied to get to the results a bit faster (With low opacity lighter colours tended to show easier than darker ones

I think I left the hair as they are since then.. will be working on them a bit more for the final image.

05-18-2005, 03:01 PM

This is a close up of the earlier update…
The whole image is full of little details like this one. Like in the cracks and etc of the bricks that are even seen only in tiny refractions. Gosh a lot of work went into this when you come to think of it!
I really prefer to try and not remember them!

Will be posting again soon.

05-18-2005, 03:04 PM
Lol... I am honored that you have wasted so much of your time here :)

Cheers!

05-18-2005, 05:01 PM
Going to do a few more updates…

How it works is that as I work on things and do something new or interesting.. or that I would like to share.. I screen grab it and than save it to it’s category title.
Usually I have the time to go through them and decide on what is really an update and what is not…

Let me know please if these seem to be too little an improvement… There is at least a few hours of hard work between each image actually.. it is just that I am posting them all at once almost.

05-18-2005, 05:01 PM
http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116435707_medium.jpg (http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116435707_large.jpg)

Here you could see that I worked a bit more on the palm.. but not done with it yet…
And very little work is left to be done on the bricks. Unfortunately none of the bricks are identical to the ones the bottle is reflecting or refracting.. they are all on their own. I am just texturing them to how things seem fitting.
This is one of the rare full views of this stage…. There was just too much detail work and I lost them all in full shots.

Like always.. you can click for a larger version or message me.. they are generally in much greater size and/or quality.

Oh wait.. I think I DID play with the hair a bit more here! The next update has some dear work done on it… but I thought it was done then… must be getting old!

05-18-2005, 05:06 PM
amazin..finish finish finish!

05-18-2005, 05:17 PM
yey man! awesome all the way, just make sure to finish till midnight! :bounce:

I am not sure if this was put aside because of being an update on the hair (Now that I saw changes in the earlier)... or if it is an update on the surface of the wine…
I guess it is for the surface since it is still selected…
Though I REALLY fail to see anything to be proud of there!!

In any case I just reused the distortions from the reflections in the underlay and than washed some paint on it… You’ll see a close up next.

05-18-2005, 05:32 PM

Oh wait sorry... the closer view is not of the same form of it.. it is a close up of an update!
Well I took the lines drawn for the line art basis and sort of painted inside some of it’s ovals.

YES I know that again these aren’t scientifically correct.. they are more meant to look convincing than anything else…

05-18-2005, 05:33 PM

Ok now this one IS a closer view of the previous. It does not seem like it.. but it was some serious work!

Hey notice the detailing on the hair tips again :)

Here I have advanced a bit more towards the edge bit.. always trying to blend things accordingly…
I can not tell you how much I have made use of the liquidify filter! :)

In this image you can possibly notice the amount of work that has gone into the wall in the liquid aswel…

A close up of the earlier.
What you see painted here is all in four or so layers.. not too sure.

Hehehe.. lol.. I'm going I'm going!! :bounce:

Thanks guys!!

I have to confess that I am LITERALLY dead.. but really enjoying the latest state of the image (You are going to have to wait a bit more to see it  )
But I can very gladly say that I am going to be able to submit this one as things are going. I feel bad about having to put my 3D aside... but now atleast I see the result AS I work without having to stress about renders and tests and so forth.

I shall have to stop now in order to prepare a model and go through some things for the other forum... the modeling time for there is an hour.. but I need a bit more than that in order to preplan it...
Wednesdays are usually with an 'intresting' evening generally.. After that I shall have to rest a bit .. but will be back again with a lot more updates (Good news is it's VERY close to the latest form of it)

Special thanks to my wife for posting the last five or so...
too much work.. too many gathered updates

05-18-2005, 06:57 PM
Yes man!:scream: today i take off day from company so i can see your progress .... from morning I'm front of my screen... i review all your work more than one time .... it Just Wow  ... go black go black :bounce: .... the last update That's what I'm talking bout:applause: ... the real ART .:buttrock: .. go go go :bounce:

Yes, it's all looking Amazing and gracefully executed. Here's a nice warm coffee to you to boost up your energy. I know it's not tangable, but i hope the thought counts, hehehe.

Since i work at home most of the time. I'll be staying online to wait for you final and cheer you up my friend. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

05-18-2005, 08:30 PM

05-18-2005, 09:07 PM
Man it is a shame that you could not finish your entry on time for the 3D challenge. (misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=0#) You have been doing such wonderful work on both but the time is really short for this challenge. I just stopped by your 2D entry and I want to say that it is just as amazing as your 3D entry. I can't believe that you have done all of this with a mouse, my wrist would be killing me. Best of luck with your 2D entry, and I hope to see the 3D entry finished some time too! Not to mention that you start to feel better soon!

05-18-2005, 09:14 PM
Woow. Ok the modeling took more from my energy stock than I had anticipated.. I am in doubt now to post the new updates or not.. Don't feel up to the commenting on them and logging-in.. submitting and etc... bit. had too many of them for the day!

Oh thats great...
Then you are REALLY going to love the new ones.. I have gone a bit overboard on the details. :)
I am so glad you liked them all so far.

I think I may have to give it a rest.. Things are going well here.. but I think it may be a good idea that I rest a little bit first.
Not that your cofffee didn't help.. It's that I need something a little bit more than a coffee
Thank you very much for the support!

Well it DOES kill my wrist.. Infact my wrists hurt dearly now as I type.
I am going to be buying a tablet though... this may infact be my last big illustration done with a mouse.
Thank you SO much for dropping by and for complimenting my work so generously here aswell... I am just as sad to not have finished the 3D... but at least this one can finish and it is going good.

More to come my frined.. more to come :)
Rest well.. You have to take care of yourself you know!
Thank you very much for your generous compliments!

Thanks alot guys.. I am going to do my best!! :bounce:

I am sure that I had another WIP that came before this but I failed to find it now. This one is more intended to fit my tutoring tradition. What I did was I brought back the head that was in the middle before I began to paint the bottle in. And I transformed and then liquified it to fit it into the state it is now. I showed care to pull and pinch it at places to somewhat resemble the refractions within the bottle.

The whole thing was that I had not liked the previous I had lying in there and I was not able to get into it’s detailing.

CTRL-Selecting the layer I painted in the exact same area with the liquid’s colours (smudged off course).

Onto the next step…

05-18-2005, 09:55 PM
http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116453308_medium.jpg (http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116453308_large.jpg)

The next step was a bit obvious off course, I multiplied this coloured layer with the head, for again obvious reasons.

This is about one hour later, the head from the last post has been liquified/transformed/smudged and repainted to what it is now. More work is to come on it, but this is an in between step for you guys to better understand how I get those clean refraction lines.

This is a close up from the previous post, still work on it is to come. The hair was painted in the sale methods earlier. My initial goal this time though was not to make messy hair but to have the feel of hair under water floating/ hovering to it’s own will. I had felt that this would incline the emotion/expression a reflection in a dominating bottle would give.
This is yet again a detail I hope people will notice…

I will, I will... patience :)
Thank you for dropping by.. I am so glad you liked it!

Don't know which word exactly you are looking for.. hope i's a good one :p...
Thank you again for the exageration
Still alot more to come... but probably not for tonight.

Oops.. I am so sorry.. was too busy with the posting.. I hadn't noticed your cheer

There are a few more updates I would love to post now.. but I am REALLY too tired.. I can't even think of a title for the submissions any more!
I am going to be back with more really soon.. just have to stop and rest frequently.

Til next;

05-19-2005, 09:46 AM
Hehehe... yeah that is ONE original quotation! :)

Sorry for getting back so late... I have not really gotten any bit better.. I am 'developing' to worse infact. And not resting is not aiding my 'aiding' at any rate!

Oh... don't worry not bad news to state that I am not submiting or anything.
The image is in a presentable state.. there are things I would like to work on it still..
within an hour or so I will probably be giving it in (Not able to work as fast as I usually would.. sorry)

The bad news is that there is still a lot of updates I haven't posted yet. In an hour my wife is going to be home.. I'll ask her if she can again submit them for me.

Well talk to you later.. thanks for dropping by to chek on things!

05-19-2005, 09:49 AM

A full view of the bottle so far. The bricks have been changed and the bottle has been worked on, but this is the first full view since a long time.

Back to the thumb again, it was hard work but it is finally finished.

When I worked on the thumb I had liquified it, but when I turned on the bottle layer I noticed that I had skewed the texture I had worked on out of view.

Off course I had to go back and fix things up, this is the final form of it.

05-19-2005, 10:38 AM
u have an hour and 22mins left, which basically leaves u an hour to complete, cos the ftp thing usaully take bout 20mins or so.

cmon man,i hope u can finish!!!

Until now were the updates I couldn’t post earlier…
What you see here on were done half arse, in a hurry, in combination with the 3D, while I was in an unhealthy state.

Sooo… don’t expect a great quality from here on

Back to the reflections on the surface again…well somebody has got to do it.

05-19-2005, 10:52 AM

Still more details worked on it, slowly filling it in.
Actually this is as close as finished an update that I have.

05-19-2005, 10:55 AM

A full view of the liquid finally completed, there are still a lot of stuff I had still wanted to do. But I can’t tell you how many times I had to revert to the saved version, all I did was mistakes.

05-19-2005, 10:57 AM
http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116500249_medium.jpg (http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116500249_large.jpg)

A close up view of yet another head in the liquid. I am sort of trying to base everything to revolve around the bottle, since I am not too capable of catching up other wise. I believe it will pull off, because the heads were pulling the attention around to around the canvas too much.

05-19-2005, 10:58 AM

Just a few something’s done before I transported this image over to the full images file. There will not be too many more chances to update, posting time is too close by.

05-19-2005, 11:34 AM
http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116502445_medium.jpg (http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/8/6629/6629_1116502445_large.jpg)

Darn it seems the files have overwritten.

Exactly what the title says, I messed up big time. I have the WIP's saved as copies just in case, since they had mentioned a high resolution to be asked for. And I have overwritten files while preparing my final submission entry image. This is a copy of my latest work in progress that i have in full scale. It's FAR from the final form to compare to other work in progresses, but it is the only one I have that is at this scale and still has the layers in it. Luckily the bottle was a completely different file. So expect a dramatic change in the image total. I don't have time, what you are going to see is going to be done in something like ten minutes or so. I hope the rest of the image to pull off.

Note: I can't find words to tell you how much this hurt. And for those of you that are going to tell me to stop typing and start working, I am working, my wife is typing this :)

05-19-2005, 12:05 PM
DUDE!! u didn't make it man!!

NOOOO!!! this is the third friggin guy that helped me out the most that didn't finish!!

05-19-2005, 12:11 PM

The net traffic was a bit TOO muc hI guess..

I kept waiting for a bloody upload.. and then a polite note stating that the deadline was reached!

I am in very mixed feelings here!.. but few of them good ones. At least I can say that it's over with and I can go and rest to get well.
This is the final image I tried to upload;http://users.telenet.be/Black.D.Greatest/CG17_2DMS64-Final-Image_FkUp.jpg

It is definately not how it is suppose to lok like.. everything you see in this image that is diffrent than the earlier was done in 15 or less minutes! So not really a masterpeace.

I'll try to post one of the inbetween things of what it should have looked like later on.

Damn am I tired!

Ps; Inspite EVERYTHING I enjoyed working on this emmencely!! It was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed your company all through out!. Thank you all!

05-19-2005, 12:14 PM
man..so sorry man,u where such a great help too.

i hope u cud get sum kinda helper award thingy they have.it belongs to u!

edit:the almost finished one looks excellent

05-19-2005, 12:18 PM
Yeah NOOB!;

Well you win some you loose some.. And I never had done these for the contest.. I had done them from the heart ... to make a good image.

I am more upset to the loss of my hard worked image rather than missing the deadline. Ads much as you find it excellent.. I fail to apreciate it.. We have a saying of riding a donkey after riding a horse.. And this so fits
Thank you VERY much for EVERYTHING NOOB... you were just great!

As for helping you out.. hell no.. it was fun! I enjoyed your work VERY much!
Hey now I can calmly go through the entries of all those I was so curious about.. (AFTER I rest a bit)

ps: Mental note for a next time... do NOT wait for the last few minutes.. the thing sort of locks (I guess)

05-19-2005, 12:30 PM
Hey Black. Just taking 5 minutes out of a busy day and thought I'd check out your pic. Am really sorry to see that you were so close to completing this but the Gods conspired against you. That's bad luck. Your work looks fantastic though. That bottle is great and the hands are all so expressive. Really awesome stuff. Hope you're feeling better. :) Claireabella

05-19-2005, 12:42 PM
So it didn't upload Berter? This seems to have been a general problem for a lot of people. I'm sorry, after all the work. Thankyou for your support as well. I'm done in myself, after two very late nights on the trot, so I'll spend more time looking at all the entries when my energy levels are restored. Best wishes to you anyway! :)

05-19-2005, 12:53 PM
Well yeah.. I sort of wish I had postted it last night!.. but you know the drill... You sort of alway s have the hope to add some more of the stuff that you couldn't
Trying to find ways of restoring my loss.. it was a lot of work with a lot of heart put into it.
Thank you VERY much for sparing the little free time you have for checking on my humble thread.
I am sorry to disapoint you though.

Hehehe.. well an issue or not, none the less I have not made it. there is no way to really sugar coat it good enough. I have lost and it is as simple as that.
I guess that this was a sort of work of God.. He was not happy with the state the image was in and tdidn't want me to submit it at such a low quality :)
I am far low on energy and shall stop n everything now...

Folks, will be taking a look at all your entries after I have healed a bit more and can think clearer...
If I have posted any ridiciulous statments in the last week or so; please forgive me as I was not too capable to concentrate on things bcause of conditions...

Off to rest now!

05-19-2005, 12:54 PM
Good Luck my friend :) ... your work perfect++ ... i dont know how we can help u

Just to pray for u

05-19-2005, 03:18 PM
Oh man, I don't know what to say, that is a bummer. You have been doing such an amazing job on both your 2D and 3D entries and have put so much work into both. Your work looks excellent, and I am sorry to hear that you had so much trouble the last days. I really do hope that you get to finish your works now without a hurry and that - besides showing them here on the galleries - you will submit them for upcoming books!

Yeah, did you see in this thread that others were having the same kind of problems? http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=219957&page=26&pp=15

There was a problem for many people submitting in the last 15 minutes of the challenge. If you attempted to submit in those 15 minutes (and those 15 only!), email me (robert@ballisticmedia.net) with your username, WIP image and text, and I will upload it.

Firstly I am so sorry everybody for being so late!

As most of you have already guessed... I was recovering. I can't say that I am too able to focus... but I am definately a LOT more better.
The funny thing is that my wrists are hurting like hell still  (I use both my left and my right interchangably when one gets too tired... bt mostly preffer the rigth for the mouse since it is more ergonomically set for the right)

I have run off to send Robert an email to request him to concider my case (Thank you VERY much Oro and Xric7.. you guys are the greatest!). But as I told him in the email.. I have already bowed to my defeat and accepted it. I would be happy if my entering shall be reconcidered, but I am yet again far too late and would not enjoy creating any difficulties.

I am starting to enjoy your proposal on having a go at Expose' 4. Sounds cool.. well will see. It is really difficult to redo something you have already completed. But none the less there were things I would have wanted to work on it to better improve anyways. As I said will be seeing.

hahaha.. this time I can confidently say without any extreme modesty that you are really exagerating it :) It would have been so much better. It may be better than a very few entries at this state.. but even still, it is under my personal expectations.. so yet far from perfect.
But take a look at it this way.. I have not lost anything! I have won your extreme respect and endless compliments. I don't think I would earn it had I had an award alone. So it means I must have done something 'better'.
Thank you so much for your support and kind wishes.. there is always a next time :)

hahaha.. you only like it BECAUSE it is a donkey don't you, you animal lover you! :)
My dear mothering friend.. even your pushing didn't help.. so I guess I must really suck eh
Well things happen. I accept my defeat and will definately be noting this down to not repeat it again.

It sort of comes with being a hyper-kynetic... we are blessed with a lot more hours of the day to live.. but not really a body to be able to support the over heating. So like everyone else.. I should have shown more care to my health. IT seems I puched it a bit extreme this time.
As high as the cost was, the reward of you guys was priceless. I can say little to express how happy you guys make me as I read back through your most sincere encouragements.
I liked your idea a lot about the Expose.. Don't know anything about how to submit what to it.. But will be investigating it soon.
Thank you for everything Mohanned!

A I R;
I understand that you were in a rush that day and couldn't read through...
My dear friend.. I have messed up big time that day and couldn't upload my image.
I have tried to contact Robert now.. but am not too hopefull since I was away from the computer for this many days for my recovery. I fear I am far too late to enter now.
In any case the image you see here is not really my final image... it is meant to substitute my loss of the original.
I would love to keep in contact.. and shall be doing so.. infact yours is one of the entries I am so curious about in seeing finalised.. Shall be paying a visit soon.

Honestly my friensd.. how much help did you actually ever need? You are like a constructed impossible building that stands all by it's own.. needing no help from outside... Your work is wonderful and your talents are undoubtable.
I wish I would have been of much help as you say.. But I know it not to be too much.
On the other hand I am so greatful for your full support all the way and also for your attempts to have me back in the game.. THANK YOU!

Hehehe.. I had very little chance next to great contestants such as yourself on the 3D.. so it was more a wise decision to run from getting defeated there :)
My work is just what it is and I am so happy that you feel them to be so worth the while.
Ofcourse I will finish them and unless you would wish not to I woul love to share the procedures of it in the meanwhile.
I have little knowledge on how these books go.. but as I said to Cha0t1c1, I really like the idea and shall try to find out how.
Matt you have been a great support to me all through out.. I had loved your entry and it is so much more rewarding to fond out that such a person like yourself is behind the scene doing them!

Yes the bed it was for me...I had to do some catching up top the aomunt of time you spent in bed all this time :)
hehehe.. well no I am better now, though now I shall be going back to bed as soon as I can.. still have to revive from the past week
I'll salute her first chance.. but I can ensure you that she will give me an odd look in the process. :p
My love to your lady and lovely children.

multumesc mult!
You have always tried to support and encourage me ... And even now are still trying to find ways for me to make it through into the competition.
I am so fortunate on the amount of friends and support I have picked up along the way.. what more can I want? Thank you very much!

Heh hehe.. well actually my loss in my health had a good impact on creating the imag. I was starting to look more and more like this unfortunate/wasted man. And it was starting to show all through out =D
None the less I have had an emmence amount of pleasure creating this pieace to what it is here. It was definately a lot of work... And even unhumanly much at times. But I wouldn't trade them for anything else.
I beleve I am one of God's most favoured.. I must be. Since I have been given soo much to be greatful for. So I am not going to make too much a fuss about my loss when I have gained so much more here. The respect and support of you all means so much more to me than any award would compair to.

Well thank you all for EVERYTHING
As I said all through out.. this was definately not a defeat.. There are so MANY people not mentioned here that I owe so much to aswel.
I shall be getting back to work sometime this week.. and that shall mean that I shall have more to post for you guys.
Probably will browse a few and then go back to rest... shall I not be able to see all of your finals yet.. please don't worry, I want to visit aLL of your threads as my ability allows!

Can't exactly call it my dream image.. but HERE it is!

She Wants Me...

"It doesn't stay as it stays in the bottle".
My concept is based around a situation of a man being a servant to his alcoholic addiction.

Honestly, I couldn’t convince myself that the alcohol in the bottle was a demon, nor that it was evil or a master.
I am however convinced that it is an organic liquid with various chemical effects to our body. And that it is only going to be presenting such reactions every time we introduce it to our body.
So my master is not actually the bottle, it is maybe the master of the mutated us.. the us that has become dominant to our will, and in fact to our whole life.

The way I hoped to introduce elements into the picture was so that the alcohol was not the one doing him damage in his drugged world... But that it was this ‘real’ world where his breath stinks and his head hurts from the mornings lights; The world where he can see only disgust and distaste in the eyes of those looking at him... that did all the damage
So in a whole the image was worked on to depict an outside view of this man crawling under his weaknesses. Not to make a little devil calling him to drink some more. (And hopefully to also depict what he himself presumes; and reconsiders once again as he stares at the bottle to throw it away... ending up taking another sip)

With this in mind I had gone off to sketch a mass of images trying to get him drunk then sober, then drunk again... searching for a pose that I would like most... I ended up reusing the same papers free gaps to paint in a new expression which got me to the idea of the composition I have now... which is actually how the idea of the many heads came up.
And in these heads, just like in the bottle; I didn't want to have obvious nor exaggerated messages in theatrical format. I wanted to try and place an as 'regular Joe' as I can manage, to stop people from jumping to the typical "Oh but that’s him.. not me". Wanted to give the message that he is simply human...
just like yourself...
But not in control anymore.
On the contrary a loyal servant to his weaknesses.

Like everybody here I have tried my best and failed at some parts that I would have wished to be better. And also like so many I have come to this point with the help of so MANY people... from this forum and from outside of it.
I especially owe a thank you to my Wife for helping me out when I wasn’t even able to sit in front of the computer as she typed in and posted all my update images that were laying around... And my Father for literally learning 3D and 2D computer graphics terminology just to be able to enjoy his son’s thread and motivate him to go on...

hi there mr. black. i really like your image... however i hope you will finish it later ... it looks undone. never the less that matter is subjective. good luck.

05-23-2005, 02:09 PM
Firstly I think I should pay a visit to my thread more often  It seems Robert has been busy again on his clumsy little contestants mess ups. I feel so bad for keeping him busy all the time!
Thanks a LOT Robert!

Thanks to the thread you guys pointed out to me I had messaged him of my situation and it seems that he has agreed on my situation. And informed me on it .. but yet once again I was not on the computer
Well so yes.. it seems that I won't have the excuse of techinical difficulties anymore. Anything lost from here on is my fault alone :)

Lol.. I have little words that come to mind.. Black being back changes nothing.. I am just happy to be able to be up to something to get to interact with you guys as best I can.
Thank you none the less for the over generous phraise!

You and your "My Bad English" excuses my dear Smadar! Your English is fine!.. Very good infact! So please don't worry about it. The things that you can't understand are most possibly too complex for any one anyways!
As for the concept, yes it is based on a man who is a servant to his alcoholic adiction. And the struggle that one in such a condition would live through while glancing one more time at his slavery before taking yet another sip.
Ufortunately the image I had hoped to present was not this.. I had to do some pathetic struggles at the last minutes to put them together to what they are. I messed up for short.
I am SURE you shall make a fantastic hair and eye render soon.. very soon. And it shall be all with your own discoveries.. regardless to my pointers. Good luck!!

Thank you SO much! When some one at your talents and caliber supports anything of myself I am boossted at a much greater degree. IT was a great oppertunity to get in contact with talents such as yourself.
Thus the challenge itself was an award! Thank you so much for dropping by to lift my spirit.. yet it seems I still happen to have a go.

Well I have been a bit of a bad frined lately.. not too capable of helping even myself.. but getting better.. infact I can't really nag about my health any longer (damn!).
Yes it seems I shall be able to have a go none the less. I am very happy to hear of it myself!
I heard you had problems yourself.. it's great to hear that the competition is not going to be left without your entries either!

Yes I owe you and Oro a big thank you for it... Both of you doing your best to reach me and inform me of what I could do.
Not that it shall be any bit easy to compete against the quality of paintings such as yours.. but well it feels great to still be in the game! thank you!

Oh wait.. do you mean printed out and autographed? Because it is already carrying my signiture.. "BlackDidThis" :)
Well I did do a lot of typing.. cna't expect them all to be read now can I? Thank you for everything Oro.. Support is sometimes even more important than helping.. and you have done both for me as often as you may.

Hehehe.. the last guy that called me Mr. Black was actually trying to express his distaste. I hope I didn't step on a toe or something here too EEK!
Well the image shall be more improved..There was an annoying reason that I had had to post it as it is now.. I don't know if you read it and are advising me this, or if you are advising me this as it is, so I don't want to type the hole thing over.
But for short.. You sure can expect another version of it out.
Thank you for your kind words and pointers! :)

Thanks for all!

05-23-2005, 05:08 PM
i'm gladd i helped! no of course not typed...some sort of digital version of a dedication or an autografph:) i'll go and print it as soon as it arrives  on photopaper..i'll make it like a poster or something..cheeres

05-23-2005, 05:12 PM
Wow, turned out nicely here! I've been away for too long man!

Really good shading o the fleshy parts, the hand holding the bottle is really convincing.

Good luck in the voting!:scream:

05-23-2005, 05:31 PM
Well done, well done. Congratulations. The most neat bottle paint I have ever saw, (if else I dont remember right now.).

Your story is original and you will probably sum votes, .. umm.. there is a "Blackdidthis" fan club i think. :)

05-23-2005, 06:06 PM
WOW... Ya finished :bounce: nice, really nice... naaaaa superb work :applause:

05-23-2005, 06:52 PM
Ooh boy.. ok.. I'll try and see how that would be possible.
I have your adress none the less.. will get it to you when I scan a signiture or something.

Well as much as you may like it.. I am disapointed with the state I had to submit the entry. Things sort of went wrong. but well can't have them all. I shall be working some more on it still...
I hope to share it with all of you then as well.

I have read some fantastic news that the voting has been removed and that it shall be only a Jury that decides. I don't know if you would agree.. but when it is down to votes, the competition ends up to be more a popularity contest. And no unlike what it may seem.. I don't think that there is really a BlackDidThis fan club .. yet :p
Thank you for again your very kind encouraements! But well the image is not complete.. I was very ill at the time and have managed to over-write my actual intended entry. I hope to be able to share it with you some time in the futur.

Hehehe.. well that was not written by me but by Robert... The kind moderator of the threads...
He has taken my post that I had uploaded to a server and used it as my FinalImage submission since he found that my finishing before the deadline had made the image acceptable.
So as much as it all updates to.. I seem to be back in the game again :) More grass for your GP's and a toast for yourself! Thank you for everything my beautiful friend!
I just hope for the best from here on.

05-23-2005, 07:15 PM
are ya in the challange? yeah! :bounce: hurray!.. very much of luck then... Me and my GPs are holding thumb and paws here... and to ya wife :wavey:

05-23-2005, 07:31 PM

05-23-2005, 09:51 PM
hey black, glad you made it into the final submissions. i hope you're doing well.. .this is a great effort and even if you're not satisfied with it totally at this point you can keep working on it for yourself. congratulations for your efforts and stay motivated!

05-24-2005, 03:36 AM
Congratulations my friend. I just saw your final piece at the finalist list. I'm very happy that you got in and pulled it through. It was so much fun following your thread and learning things in the process. I truely wish that one day you will be known like one of the old masters.

btw, if you have a website, maybe you can PM it to me, so i can keep up with your works. It would be nice to see how you progress in time my friend.

cheers and keep in touch

05-24-2005, 12:59 PM
My wife always has a big smil on her face when ever she reads your private messages... I guess all is related of her having a visual picture of all the GP positions you keep mentioning to us.
I don't know if luck is a case now since there ar so many fantastic and correctly completed entries out there. I am just curiouse on who is to be winning in the end.

You have just described my last week to me
Well it's great to be back and much tgreater to have you spam around my thread again :p
You have been supportive to me all through out. One more extra or one less shall not bring you to a level no lower than you already are for me. Thank you so much for everything.

Nigel Q;
You as well have noticed that it is not too difficult to remain motivated with the cominty support people like yourself have been providing.
I have a task in hand that I was obligated to delay... But once it is to be done I shall get back at both my chalange entries.

My good friend and all time encourager! I would also love to keep the relation going and shall definately provide you the adresses of the domains we shall be opening. But things are too much in 'prep' process so the domains are not even bought yet. About next week I can fill you in on it though.
Until then I can pm you a link to a few of my stuff I have uploaded to the web space given by my provider.
As for what I shall be one day.. I guess all I really wanted to be when I was a child was to become a Super Hero :)
And well even worse than artists. they remain unknown even after they die
hehehe.. thank you so much for again comming here to flatter me to bits!
Cheers my good friend!

05-24-2005, 01:12 PM
thx thx thx :bounce:

05-24-2005, 01:43 PM
I´m curiouse to, belive me... who is gonna win this.. :bounce: It´s gonna be fun to see where my favorite images lands on the ranking :)

05-24-2005, 03:17 PM
i'm so glad your final is approved. although it's not finished it's a strong and not easy image. the bottle and the details in it are fantastic. just now noticed the whole details. great!!

i love your concept. it's a meaningful and humanaty. although it deals with alcoholism i think it refer to other bad kinds of addiction. love the hands/eyes motif.

i hope you'll continue also with your 3d m&s scene. with those great painting skills it's going to be terrific. are you going to? will you?

i find it very moving an experienced artist as you is so devoted to others. can't imagine this challenge without you. i found myself waiting for your replies, as many other participants, i'm sure. always so encouraging and so motivating with great suggestions. how can i thank you enough for what you'v done for me? (promise i won't say it again for sometime. had to, also here, just this once again).

as your high english so is your art. very interesting and deep. you are not making it easy for the viewer. i have to explore it. i think it's great. you deserve the best of luck. i wish it to you with all my heart, dear black.

05-24-2005, 04:00 PM
there's a bug in the bottle ?

that pic reminds me of my 1341th hangover

05-24-2005, 09:14 PM
I have just up dated my final entry post by adding in a discription of my concept and my methodology.. but most important of all a list of all those that I sort of owe many thanks to.
I hadn't noticed that so many people had meant so much to me... It was a challange to track everyone listed there. If you would have the time please chek if you are listed or not. I would really not want to miss out on a single soul after all you have done for me.

Thank you!

Lol you are such a clown... It would be an honor to provide you with such an image.. I have a signiture scanned but it doesn't really seem to be as good a I would wish. I'll get something through later tonight.

Well I hope you are saticfied enough with my being accepted.. since I am not too hopeful with my entry getting any postioin up there.
But Hey I have won my self a Mona and a family of GP's.. what more can I want?!

Smadar... I think you are seeing the 'between the lines' part of the concept.. yes none the less this is a usual human just like any of us and has fell servant to a weakness, in this case to alcohol. So yes my dear one, you are right there :)
I can not exactly call myself an artist.. and you shall probably never hear me doing such. I just like to create and sometimes art is my medium... But my biggest investment is on people... as Patch-Adams had once quoted; if you try to fight a desease, you win or you loose... but if you try to help people, you can only win!
What I have done for you was done for the both of us.. it helped me come out of this journey victorious!;)
And it was FAR from a burden, please don't exagerate it as if it was such a hard thing to do.
You are a wonderful, caring and sensative person. I am more than honored to be so important to you!

hahaha.. Bug's? Hey actually you CAN put it that way now can't you? :)
But no not exactly a bug...
If you would like a closer look to the details of thos specific area's I have some in my posts: #212 (http://www.cgtalk.com/showpost.php?p=2244827&postcount=212), #308 (http://www.cgtalk.com/showpost.php?p=2300653&postcount=308), #309 (http://www.cgtalk.com/showpost.php?p=2300676&postcount=309) and #325 (http://www.cgtalk.com/showpost.php?p=2303059&postcount=325) where you may have a better view of his instance drowning in the curves of the reflections and refractions of the bottle and the liquid it contains.
The image was actually meant to be carrying more details all through out.. but well accidents happen :)
I hope your 1342'nd hangover didn't follow instantly after that.. this sure does not seem like a good one!

Best to the all of you and thank you SO much for everything!

05-25-2005, 01:25 PM
Argh... shame on me... I've followed your 3d thread... and I miss this one... mmh, certainely coze the link in black on gray... not easy for my old eyes :scream:

Well, now, I must repare that... smoke... drug... drink... always some good but hard subjects, often traited... but your way is different and very interesting...
Sure, very interesting way... like a poster, or like a real little story where the time would have stopped to collect these hard moments...
... with many steps of these effects... that give us something very dynamic... with a certain falling feeling, with the reading direction and the brick wall...

Very strong image... that remain me something ? hahahaha...

Well Black... I wish you the best for the next steps... seeya :D

05-26-2005, 10:07 AM
Lol; It's REALLY no problem Lemog;

As stupid as it may be in the manner of my personal commercial; I preffered the modest colour black on the grey... to not exactly be too insisting.
I have gone into a variaty of details on the whole of the image actually.. but I sort of messed up literally on the last hour.
As kind as your words are... I am not hundred percent with the image as it is, and am going ot be starting a 2D WIP thread soon.

Since I have already a better idea on how the final is going to look.. Ijust might go int even higher detsil especially hoping to keep the cut/copy/paste feel not as felt.
I could get comments on my pasting a ready bottle or something because it really looks such. The work applied to the bottle was meant for a full detailed picture and not for one I had to repaint in a very short period.

So you really don't have to be so kind on the compliments... I hope for the close ups in the earlier posts to be of some compensation :)

Thank you SO much for hunting down my 2D entri's thread as well. All the best to you and thank you greatly for your all time encouragements!

05-26-2005, 01:25 PM
hahaha... modesty ? if you want... but I you're here... it's also to show what you do no ? then... if links are not visible... you are here for nothing... I think we are here all to show our works and to discover the works of all girls and guys here...

Then... Black ? I understand... but please, have respect to the old eyes :scream: hahahahahaha

This morning, in my car when I go to my job, I'm thinking to your image, about the reason I like it... now I know... that make me think to a sort of collage... not a simple collage, but the one of a sick guy, a work that he would have realized, to occupy his hands, to don't drink more, to miss his past, to miss his disease, to miss his alcoholism, to miss his asservisment to the bottle.

It's not free compliments... but really I like the feeling of your creation Berter

05-26-2005, 04:16 PM
printed it.......weeeeeelllll...looks so good!:bounce::bounce:

05-26-2005, 04:51 PM
Hey there Black, I'm sorry it took me so long to reply! I'm so happy that you are doing better and that your image was accepted after all the server trouble! How are your wrists doing? Maybe you want to try a copper wrist band. Now what am I reading here, you being defeated in the 3D challenge... I hope that was just your state of health talking there. Hey and there is no need to thank me, it is your masterpiece, not mine! All the best to you man! :wavey:

05-26-2005, 05:42 PM
ok thanks for the detail pics , the reflection thingy looked like a fly wing :)

and yea the 1431th was baaaad..ugh.. had the 1432nd been there i'm not sure
i woulda made it :D

05-26-2005, 08:14 PM
Folks I am officially starting on completeing this entry again. Unfortunately I am going to have to start from even more back because I have flattened and saved the partial file I had found and then worked on, to become a tiff...
So it is all going to have to go back to when I imported the bottle into the scene
If you would like to follow up on it.. the thread is located here (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=243981).

I am so sorry for upsetting your eyes any more than they already are. If it is any compensation, you mademe very happy by paying me a visit here :)
I don't know. I guess it is just the way I am. I preffer to wait in the shadows and expect those that come rather than to jump on their laps.
I am overwhelmed to hear that somesort of a deep emotion has come to you through the image.. I guess I wasa dear bit messy enough to give such a disturbed feel.
The last bit was put together and painted in less than 10 minutes but none the less I tried to pay SOME attention to what goes where. It was so chaotic I don't even remember that hour clearly!
None the less if you see the works of disturbence in it... works of a 'case' than I have to say that you have really managed to cheer me up my young in heart friend! Thank you VERY much!
It means so much to me for you to think of my image later in your life and spare the time to come back and tell me about it... Merci Beaucoup!!

hehehe.. you are the first to print it out then :) .. As far as I know of it.

Well they had sort of forbid me to be on the computer.. or do work of any sort for about a week.. but even such my wrists have not stopped hurting.. It is mostly the hair bristols that I tried painting out that gave me a hard time... I must have been a sight to see. :)
Well as for the challange.. it is true.. illness or not I have lost. On the other hand I have already come out victorious I gained SO much from here.. including you my good friend.
But my point is that I don't want to run from the fact that I wasn't good enough to get it all in.
You HAVE helped me get here.. trust me.. especially in the last days every extra little something helped. and the way you guys jumped over here from the 3D thread to my rescue meant a lot to me! ... THANK YOU!

Well what can I say now? you know it isn't a fly :) And hey you should watch out on those hangouvers... these things can turn you into servants!
Thank you for again popping by!

Thank you all.. now gonna get to work!

05-26-2005, 09:07 PM
i'm gladd..good luck with finishing it..and pls send a private message when you do

05-26-2005, 09:15 PM
And hey you should watch out on those hangouvers... these things can turn you into servants!

no problem dude, quit all hangovers permanently a month ago :bounce:

Hi Black
Power is an artist. Power's brush is manipulation. Power's canvas is life, the earth. Power's technique is illusion of division. Power's strategy is conquest. Like I said earlier, there is no me there is only we. When the earth is viewed from afar that becomes crystal clear. All of the politically culturally motivated divisions are absent. There is just a oneness. The divisions have been placed in our minds by power. Divided we are conquered. United as one we are free.
Just a few thoughts for a painting that's been going through my mind for a few years now. If you or anybody you know are interested in making it a team creation let me know. And I will share my vision of it. It is a simple image and a great one. And is crystal clear in my minds eye. Would be even better in 3D and animated.

Glad to see your painting accepted in the finals of this challenge. When its done to your liking you might contact MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving, I think) They've grown to be a big organization against alcohol and have TV commercials etc. Might have or know some one who can use you painting for promotionals. Might also try Alcoholics Anonymous or the anti-drug alliances and organizations I've seen sponsoring commercials on TV. They might use or know somebody who can use your painting or at least might be able to point you in the right direction.
Good Luck and Take Care

I have replies?!!
Cool.. I came to the thread many times in the last few days to get links to images on my continiuation on the 2D WIP... I guess I some how managed to untrigger the notification or something.. Sorry guys for not replying with a decent "Thank you".

I have already started it.. I have a link to the new progress in my signature... But don't worry, I will try and inform you shall I finish.

I know that this may sound very stupid and out of place; but I am proud of you. I had to go a little bit deep into the subject in the back stage and I found out things that are not too wonderful.
I am so happy that you hit a few thousand hang-overs.. but that they lay now in your past.
Good Luck with everything in your life, and thank you for everything!

My edear friend.. it is like you want to reflect your avatar onto your texts and colour it tropically. A post by you is noticable from so afar! :)

Ceasers early diagnosis that managed him to conquer a great portion of the known world... I can see and understand your point and where it is leading to. I really do not know though if I could come up with a name that would accept the mutual work. I do have a variaty of people that I am connected to from outside of this forum I will ask them to have a look if they can and let you know if anything comes out of it.
As for my self I have put myself: I really don't think that I would be available from the set of projects I have gone ahead to lay before me...
You have abilities to depict and explain things in mediums. Why aren't you givng it a go to make yet another Glenn-creation?

I have heard most from the MADD organisation. And will most possibly be contacting them for the matter. The good thing about charity is that you are not as hand tied with the copyrights and can share your donation with many. So I think I shall try and go for all that give a positive responce.
I am detailing the image even more now starting from fr back to when I have a saved layer last. I intend on insuring that it is capable of being printed out in poster size and that it will still look impressive. The thread has started mid this week and is not going too fast.. but is going gradually none the less.

Thank you all for visiting and I am so sorry for being so rude as to not reply. Must of been one of my times that I was simply too stupid or something!
Take care all of you, and thanks again!
