It's basicly letting the geometry flow, so it will be easier to animate and model.

thanks a bunch. Can you point me to some tutorials on modeling complex things involving edge loops???please?I can't find any good books, especially ones that aren't 3d MAX or Maya(i use blender)

i can only use freeware, or learning versions...im broke(i.e. student at HS)

ok, thats a cool way of modeling. Using a flat plain, then bending it, kinda like paper mache. I know many people use 3d solids, and shape those, but i found the method used in this tutorial is good when working from reference images:http://www.psionic.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/tutorials/lowpoly/zmod.html
