Hi. I'm new in this forum so first some info about me :
I'm 22 I study in National High School of Fine Arts in Sofia(Bulgaria).
About the concept:
I've looked from a diffrent angle on things.
Human and Machine-Machine and Human.
In our urge to dominate all,we humans from masters turn to slaves of the machines. Slave of our own cities, and what is a city if not a good working machine.
Real Format : 111x61cm
Software : Photoshop 7.0 with mouse
P.S.:
Sorry for the bad image but the real one is to large.

I don't know why but this image is worser than i imagined
The colours are all wrong. There are like negatives!
Why is this happening? How can I fix it ? :(

Good luck with the comp.
That image is ok for an initial concept for that particular idea, i think that format layout you have chosen is interesting but i feel you would get a much more striking image if you thought about distorting perspective to give a much greater sense of scale, try portrait instead of landscape, just a though :D

Hi there.
That is a lot of detail, but it's a good start. Just don't forget that you have to show the relationship between the Master and the servant. Right now, it's looking more like a concept design for a futuristic/fantasy city.

I will put mine soon and this will also be my first posting here.

Archie

Mundo detail man my only question is where is the focal point? And as asked earlier where's the relationship between the master and the servant?

gafana

The focal point well be focused on the humans presens in every part of the picture. The relationship is in the pain , in the place where the humans are in their new role like a servents to the mashines. I tried to show the relationship not so directly , but metaphorical.
Maybe its sound a little complicated , but that's my point of view.

Wow, quite a number of people from Bulgaria here! Good luck and...find a tablet. You can't do anything impressive with a mouse. And for the colors-don't use RGB colors. They look good in the Net, but they are change much (blues and violets more, reds and yellows less) when you try to print them. Switch the sliders in the color palette to CMYK. Check your colors often in "CMYK preview" - "CTRL+Y". Try "blur" filter on the sky. That's it-uspeh!

Thanks for the advices.
I don't know why but when I post my image in CMYK all colors go wrong ?!
For the sky , its in progress - not finished yet.
And for the tablet i wish that I had one , but I cant afforded it :( ,its not so bad with the mouse its just very slow .
Thanks again I'll take in mind your advices :)

Your colors are wrong because only few programs can read CMYK images properly. The Net is "the kingdom of RGB". Convert your image to RGB before posting it.:)

That is good advice, but you don't have to convert it if you save the file "...save for web".
That function of Ph is really usefull in case that you want to put some images on the net and
it's conrvert the cmyk profile automatically to rgb. Good luck!!!

PS. Za6emetiava6t detail, no saveta mi e da ne prekaliava6 s nego. Fokusirai ideiata si v po
globalen aspekt. Ne izpadai v nenujnio podrobnosti i detaili. Uspeh!!!
