Latest Update: Concept Sketch: Decaying God

My idea for this piece is a Greek-type culture whose pantheon of Gods live among them. The zealous followers of this particular deity continue to sacrifice virgins and treasure to him, oblivious (or in denial) to the fact that he is long dead and decomposing. I wanted to illustrate the way that people trapped in a servant mindset will cling to the idea of a master even if the master is no longer there.

This sketch is extremely rough, but I wanted to get something drawn and up on the site before I ran out of time. It looks like I have a lot of catching up to do. Any criticism is extremely welcome.
