View Full Version : bakeResults -time syntax

I'm trying to use the bakeResults command and for the flag "-time" I would like to use variables. The sytax for -time is as follows:

bakeResults -t "0:100";

It indicates an upper and lower limit respectively. What I can't figure out is the syntax for using variables, say from a user input, instead of raw integers. Thanks ya'll

you need to put it in a string, then evaluate that....


int $start = 0;
int $end = 100;
string $cmd = ("bakeResults -t \"" + $start +":" + $end + "\"");
eval $cmd;

I dont have maya on this PC to test that, hopefully the syntax is right... looks it to me :)
