When using HDRI to render, there are still outstanding bugs as of messiah:Studio 2.2.
Bug 1
Steps
- Import object(s)
- Turn Ground on in Camera for rendering or import in a ground object
- Turn reflectivity/transperancy ON in you object's material, but not for ground plane material
- Attach HDRI map to Environment
- Set Light Source to Environment and GI Type to Monte Carlo/Hybrid
- GI Samples and GI Depth to whatever you want, doesn't matter
- Render with Anti-Alias
Problem
- White noise artifacts
Bug 2
- Import object(s)
- Turn Ground on in Camera for rendering or import in a ground object
- Turn reflectivity OFF in you object's material
- Attach HDRI map to Environment
- Set Light Source to Environment and GI Type to Monte Carlo/Hybrid
- GI Samples and GI Depth to whatever you want, doesn't matter
- Render with Anti-Alias
Problem
- Renders with reflection on a material with NO reflectivity
The attach image shows an example of the problems.
Cheers,
