is the backround style not match the characters?
how about the characters how can i improve them?
any wild ideas or any critique would help

I should add a colar to the jacket of the boy
I will make the girls shirt at least the left side is too bagy

....hmmmm... its a cute piece.
i am not much of a colourer....
but i just find the way you coloured it is a little 'rushed' or... not as crisp and clear.
the soft effects looks quiet nice... but maybe you can clean it up a little...
(donno how to say it)

anyways..... hope to see update soon

that is true it was rushed, i treated it like a speedpaint, but evolved into a couple hour deal
yes the rushed look does no match the characters
any tips how to clean it up or add a good grass effect/tools/anything?

ok here is the deal I fixed most the flaws on the character
still deciding to put other details in the character and what details
could go crazy if had the ideas....and i do have some
next my plan is to finish the backround
clean it up add patches of grass here and there
keeping the cartoon vibe
deciding if I should
add a playground and/or a cheering crowd
might even throw in the girls cat
standing on the boys bull dog
(yes dog is blacked out with black eye also with a pudle of drool)
mimicking the girls pose while looking at her over the its shoulder
what do you think?
but before all that crazy junk
comments on lighting? mistakes? ideas?

Cute picture. The two things that stick out for me are her teeth and the color scheme. From this point of view we shouldn't see her back teeth, especially her top ones. Also, with all the green in the picture (grass, bully's pants) I think pink is not such a good color for the sky. Maybe if they were in a sandbox instead of on grass the pink wouldn't stand out so much? I like the idea of the crowd--some kids cheering and others looking in stunned silence. The cat/dog would probably split the viewer's focus too much. Let the girl have her moment of victory. :)
