So this is the my idea for the challenge.
I decided I wanted to have a small master and a HUGE servant/slave.
In my head I envision a girl playing with her pet. At first I thought a lion type creature but then i went for a tiger instead. Why? Because l felt it will be more of a challenge to color in the stripes.:)
I got this idea after playing the game Half-Life 2. In the game a girl named Alyx has an unususal pet. His name is DOG but it really isn't a regular dog, but a robotic one. Even though it is huge it shows so much emotion and delicacy toards Alyx that it is truely a remarkable couple. So thats what im trying to mimic in my picture. Just hope it works....lol:D

wanted to point out that i'm looking for my image to have a perspective that will make the tiger seem really huge. I also want the tiger seem more like if it was made out of stone hence the segmented tail in the concept sketch. What do you guys think?

Just setting up the lighting with some greenish color since the tiger is going to be stone like.

Changed his pose. He looked like he wanted to scare her in the other pose lol. Now he looks like he's obeying her.

Lol i've been so busy drooling at everyone else's work i'm starting to forget mine.
Anyways here is the basic layout of my background. I'm going with this jagged mountain side. I added a waterfall to make it seem alive and i'm also going to give it some distance fog. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? My first challenge here so i'm kinda running out of ideas. (Could it be that maybe i'm trying too hard to catch up to everyone else?...)
Oh any good luck to everyone....I love this place!
