Latest Update: Concept Sketch: other idea: sketch

here is my original idea where the baby is inside the mother's womb and is seen through glass as part of her belly controlling her from the outside. She has a milk machine on her back and a metal piece on her eyes so she can't see. Cables coming out of her stomach connected to the milk machine and two mechanical arms from the stomach which the baby controls. The setting will be in a post apocalyptic baby room, dark, toys are partially destroyed, dirty, messy room.

it's my first time here and I will be doing the 2d painting in photoshop.
I have 2 ideas: first one is where a man's penis controls most of his emotions, maybe wrapped around him like a snake, "sitting" on top of the man riding him like a horse - i\'m not sure if this would be an ok image for the challenge but I think I have a good idea - would this be too sexual in content ? what if I make the penis look more like a snake/hydra type creature ?
second idea: a pregnant mother where the child in her womb is controlling her from the inside - might have some parts coming out of the stomach and wrapping around the pregnant woman. I'm going for a cark/giger style. Let me know what you guys think, I want to make sure what is allowed and what isn't for a challenge like this.

LOL very funny ideas, however I think the first one would be to sexual and shocking to be allowed, personally I don't have a problem with it, I would like to see how it turns out, but to play it save I wouldn't do it.

The second idea should be ok I gues, it does sound very interesting. I think the unborn child should be visible to show the relationship between master and servant, maby make her belly somewhat transparant.

Anyway, welcome and good luck with the challenge

hm what if I make the penis not really look like one, kind of funny looking and wrapped around the body so you can't exactly tell it's really a penis ? but then again that might kill the whole idea. MIght just go with the baby in the womb concept - one idea - maybe telling it's mother to buy everything it needs before it's born; car, house, account filled with money for school etc.. need to think more about this..

can someone tell me if that idea is viable and If I can start on it ? you know which one I'm talking about.. probably someone who runs the challenge would be best to let me know

From the Forum Policies that are on the FAQ link at the top of the page: Pornography

This excludes the tasteful use of nudity in artwork. Images or animations depicting blatantly pornographic acts including intercourse, masturbation, bestiality or abuse, and links to pornographic sites are not tolerated under any circumstances.[My formal advice] - "Tasteful use of nudity" being the key phrase here. If you can do that then there are no problems with pursuing either idea.

[My personal advice] - I don't know if you caught the "ring-tone frog" thread before it got removed, but if you did then you'd already have a good idea of what other members will say about it. Just be prepared for a possible heated debate. And please use the "notify Moderator" option if it gets out of hand.

Thanks

Second concept is interesting. I myself like these bizarre ideas ;) But yeah, as Kirt said, there're always people who think they know what's good or bad better than others :) I myself wouldn't let them tell me what to do ;)

Good luck!

so many ideas in my head for this, my first challenge entry... Here is some more:
1. Egyptian setting showing humans working on finishing building the pyramids - this in the backdrop, in main focus you see several humans pulling a large either alien ship or alien vehicle. Basically the aliens came to earth and used humans as their servants to build the pyramids. The pyramids are used as a map/directions for creating something much larger that will some day control all of the human race.

2. Inside an alien ship you see several aliens one looks like a main boss alien and in the middle of the ship is a tank and inside a device similar to a hamster wheel but is inside water and a human is inside it with some oxygen tank strapped to him giving the alien ship power. -again humans used as servants for aliens.

3. My final idea is my favorite - a setting inside a house where you see a chair and a man standing on top of it holding a rope about to commit suicide by hanging himself. on the right of this you see the devil himself leaning on a desk/table and one of his legs is about to kick the chair away to help the man with his suicide since he can't really make up his mind. Basically the devil is collecting/aiding people in their suicide knowing that once they do that they won't go to heaven and therefore the devil can gather as many men as he can and use them as his servants in hell to fight the angels in heaven for ultimate control.

let me know which concept you guys thing is the strongest, personally i really like the devil concept and need to show you a sketch later tonight that i will do.

Yeah, in my opinion, the third one is better, 'cause pyramids and aliens are imho somewhat banal...

too many ideas

I can't decide which idea is better - the Devil or the baby in the mother's womb.. any suggestions ? should I just do 2 sketches first to show you ?

Third is best, I'd sketch two of them if I were you and see which one you like best; the baby or the other.

i'm definitely doing sketching tonight so I can post my work... just to add, The baby in the mothe'rs womb concept, i see the mother having her eyes covered, maybe with something bolted to her face to keep her eyes closed or maybe even having her without any eyes, just empty sockets - the baby controls all her emotions and is leading her - I see the mother in pain and suffering maybe crawling..

Well, in my opinion, womb theme would be visually better, 'cause you can concentrate of model, but devil idea with it's room, table, chair, window (I suppose) and heroes in full height with a decreased detail level could be a little dull... But of couse, make sketches of both and decide for yourself. And we'll with pleasure write our opinions.

ok I think i finally have my whole idea in my head here goes...
setting in a baby's room, baby sitting on the poddy that's designed to look like a king's throne. Baby has a ring on one of it's fingers that looks like a pacifier. Mother is either on her knees hands folded begging for mercy or in a crib behind bars that looks like a jail cell. Mother will still be pregnant and blindfolded or a metal piece shut on her eyes, not sure if I still want her stomach to show through so you see the other unborn child. Inside the room i will add some things that show how the baby is controlling his/her mother. I'm still going to sketch my other - devil - idea also to see which one you guys like.

here is my first 10min sketch of the baby, just a rough i think i'm going for realistic but cartoony style.

NOOB!

not orignal, sumone already has exactly the same concept elsewhere in this forum.

but i wud like to see where u cud go with it.

Noob! - not original ? hm, I did come up with it so how is it unoriginal ? and which idea is "exactly the same" as mine ? you are probably talking about the baby in the kingdom setting which is different than mine. Mine will take place in a baby's room with a pregnant mother crawling on her knees carrying a milk machine; flipped baby crib with a dog or cat in it - so don't say not original since it's very different than his.

Interesting ideas. I like the baby controlling from within the womb. I think this could look very visually interesting and have the potential to be topical. Art should be topical, so ignore zealous political correctedmess :)
