I like its' painterly look, the only things that seems to stand out at me when I first looked at the image, was the egde of the figure near the face and neck seems to a little confusing. What I mean by this, is that either the background or the face/neck could be lightened or darkened to help separate the too. Or it you could blend it more so you get the feel that it's there but not defined. Also the hand against the wall doesn't have the feel that there is a hand in it. The face is well defined and nicely rendered, you can see the underlying bone structure, the hand should be similar. You should post a bigger pic, the red is really catching and in not an easy colour to handle, but you did an excellent job.
