Thx "Z", my render is very simple, it is default scanline render. I use 3ds max.

I start the modeling of the body.
the stomach isn't very detailed because it will be hide by the bath.

I attached the body and the head together. I made textures and start skinning.
Next step: adjust the skinning, taste it and make a pose in the bath.

I think that it is modeled good. I wouldn't mind getting in tub with her.

But she does look just a little rubbery and if she has naturale breast I think that because of gravity they should be little closer to her body. I am having problems in anatomical department on my model very much. I'll try and post my new renders by tomorrow morning.

Something disturb me a little... previously, you have something very clean... in adequation with the style... not lot of objects, and visibles... and now, these new plants which come of nowhere seem strange. maybe too much, or too much same plants... I don't know exactly for the moment.

My computer isn't enough powerfull, and it freeze at every render...

If you can continue with your scene like that cause your computer, you can try to cut your scene in few files, as few layers... more light to computing... and you can composite these layers at the end in photoshop, no ?
But it's very strange, your scene doesn't appear very big ? you don't have so much elements ? a bit odd then...

I hope sincerely you can continue this challenge, I like so much you image and that will be very sad if you can't finish your picture.

Yeah as Lemog said you can find a solution... btw, what software are you using and how are made the plants ? Is it a generator or geometry+textures...?

Hope we could see more of this piece, it's very interesting to follow and this last render looks pretty good !

Mine isn't enough powerfull!
Sont there is a problem with shadows, the density, i'll refine this ;)
It's a test with raytraced shadows ( 3hours of render ...). But for the others test i'll use shadow maps :D

raytraced shadows are the reason of this so long render time Lemog ;)

But now I continue with shadow map, i'll test the two differents type at the final render to see wich is the better :thumbsup:
But fot the moment shadow map are better because quicker :D

You plant look nice, the shading is good. I like a lot the teeth.

all my carnivores plants in a composition, just for a test of lighting.
Every plants are done by individual render, and then composite together.
The lighting setup is simple, 4 spots with various intensity and colors.
It's a scanline render.

You should use them in a more interesting way in your compostion. It's too bad to not use them in a efficient way.

Beautiful Ludo... I will say that in french coz I miss some words for explanation : le seul petit détail qui me gêne vraiment se situe au niveau des cheveux, notemment leur implantation... il y a un gros manque à l'endroit des tempes... même si à cet endroit, c'est souvent moins dense. Son implantation ressemble un peu à celle d'une barbie... It's a really small detail... and the final way is yours... best wishes my friend :thumbsup:

This is the final image!
Adding some little details and correction.
For this image, I used 3dsmax, with a basic lighting with 6 spots.
ZBrush was used for the two feet under the bath and the carnivores plants, and for textures of these meshes.
The render is 3ds max default scanline, render by layer:
Vegetation near the camera
The bath with the woman
Background vegetation
And all the carnivores plants one by one

Compositing and post effects were done in Photoshop.
In final, i have 105 layers in photoshop ( flammes, dirt, highlights, slime, cracks... all details like this )

For this picture, the only source of inspiration was Alien for the carnivores plants.
I\\\'m really happy to have finish the challenge in spite of problems with my computer, so really big thanks to my friend who helped me by rendering my project with his computer ( my computer is not enough powerfull for that greedy renders ! )
I\\\'m sorry I don\\\'t have enough time to work a lot on compositing, my exam in my college starts soon. So , I do as i can ;)


The woman is the Mistress of the plants, she lives with them permanently in a greenhouse.The plants admires her and respects her like a god.
But these plants have tendency to too admiring her, as well for her\\\'s carism as for her\\\'s beauty, which makes them benefit from those moments of rest to approach some slowly… Do they want to eat her?
Or right to approach some for one emotional moment? In this image I wanted to represent the woman in a weak graphic position, surrounded by plants carnivores seeming aggressive.
In the content, I wanted that one feels in spite of that the hierarchical superiority of the woman, the fact that she dominates.
I wanted that at first sight, the plants seem to dominate, but that while understanding the image, one realizes that the woman dominates her plantes.

La femme est la Maitresse des plantes, elle vie avec elles en permanence dans une serre. Les plantes l\\\'admire et la respecte comme un dieu.
Mais ces plantes ont tendance à trop l\\\'admirer, tant pour son carisme que pour sa beauté, ce qui leur fait profiter de ses instants de repos pour s\\\'en approcher lentement... veulent elles la manger ?
Ou juste s\\\'en approcher pour un moment affectif ? Dans cette image j\\\'ai voulu représenter la femme dans une position graphique faible, entourée de plantes carnivores semblant agressives.
Dans le fond, je voulais que l\\\'on ressente malgré ça la supériorité hiérarchique de la femme, le fait qu\\\'elle domine.
Je voulais qu\\\'à première vue, les plantes semblent dominer, mais que en comprenant l\\\'image, on se rende compte que la femme domine ses plantes.
