Latest Update: Concept Sketch: Final Concept Rough

Here is the basic rough for the final concept that I have decided to go with. I am going to add some activity around the outside edge (some spaceships, perhaps an explosion...who knows.)

As always, I make on the fly adjustments and you will see them in the final line art piece.

Blasted through a bunch o' ideas and kept coming back to the first one, with the idea of guys being slaves to their video game muses.

The second, tentatively titled "A Matter of Scale", is basically just messing with conventions of the fantasy monster/hero pastiche.

Ah, well, can I actually get one of these done? I really DO need the computer!!!

Gotta Say being an Avid Gamer I love the first idea. Its very different but I think you should explore it more, Like what if gamers are the masters of the characters on screen. Or it could be more of who is playing who. Also maybe some way of showing this idea with out the gamer infront of the TV.
But great Idea, And good luck!

I am thinking maybe I make it viewable FROM the TV screen, with characters/archetypes falling out of the screen and overlapping into the "real world".

Hmmmm....

Well you got a solid concept I think whichever rout you take it will be good.
Sorry for sounding like a teacher before, I sort of did something similar in school, teacher said the same thing. But looking forward to the progress :)

I would keep pushing ahead with the video game concept..............it has the potential to be visually stunning.

I look forward to seeing your next stage in development.
