ok i have been busy trying to read and learn all this 3d stuff for the 3d challenge and i seem to have left behind this one...
i \'ve been thinking of the general design concept and had 2nd thoughts about the main character ..so i just doodled in painter and did this guy and i like hime ...i think i can combine more comic-like action and surreal happenings with this guy and tons of \"servants\" or even the whole world ..the planet the universe a vibrating giant Superstring that unifies gravity and the resto of the forces of the universe ...oh my god ..the possibilites are endless...
bah ...i just did this for fun ...i could stick to the more cartoony thing...i dunno..

the main concept is a samurai warrior as a master
and his sword as the servant or the other way around?
...anyway as long as i get that usb thingy work i'll ypdate some basic rough concept thoughts...

ok a first approach
doing a bit of survey right now ...
dont know anything yet about the composition just brainstorming
.....
i am a bit divided ...from a cartoony design to a more serious cartoon design..
right now i get those more funny guys ...
but we shall see. :)

The segmented loaf villian quivering like jello on a spoon while the warrior admires his work could be worth exploring further.

For a master samuri, everyone is comparable to a servant. :)

Fantastic sketches.

i think you are right...

the master samurai is a master of everything that is not him
so everything that is not the samurai is his servant...
but the sword is (as Javier mentioned today) an extention of the samurai
so it cannot be either a servant or a master..

so the thing could be changed to samurai+sword=master of all that is not him...

...hmmm i would do a schematics of the thinking ...

...OpenCanvas rulez...

just ideas ...

other afraid not masters (of course)
and a series of mastering upon the non masters and therefore the servants
servants to be that is because everyone is not a servant until the end of a confrontation where a mastering upon him is completed and the servant situation engages...

of i forgot ...
i was thinking of having master and slave HDD's and CDROMS along the process
jsut to remind all of us how the master-servant(sometimes slave) situation is involved
in the process of CG rendering in 2d or 3d...
do not forget ...

just checking the colors on such a model... i'll try to adapt the master samurai to such a kind of design. to see what i get...

bardakos,

Yipppeee! Exaggerated blood baths painted purple will be pure eye crack! :bounce:

It's Samuri Jack vs those drooling bed wetters, the RugRats!

For a darker lighting scheme, maybe you could use candles, or a forest fire instead of sun or moolight. Have the samuri take out his uncompromised rage on the undisciplined. Cut off their heads, squish out their eyeballs, and burn down their village.

This is gunna be massively obscene! :bounce:
