Just started to work on the contest...
03-29-2005, 07:23 PM
I start with the face of the master... no idea for now what for a composition I will do... but the beauty will be the master and the monster the slave... The beauty sitting on her slave... something like that :o
03-29-2005, 09:39 PM
Tchaa ... I spent the whole evening on this face... and still a lot to until I'm happy.... :(
03-31-2005, 02:31 PM
Worked a lot on my master character... some ideas came to my mind for the final composition... I'll try to sketch it as soon as possible to post it....
03-31-2005, 09:31 PM
ok just a sketch for the idea... I'll search for the final composition directly in 3D...
04-01-2005, 09:17 AM
Just another sketch...
04-02-2005, 12:13 PM
I improved the modeling of the face... I'll keep it as it is now .. the rest will be done with textures
04-02-2005, 12:31 PM
Welocme to the challenge. I think the upper lips are too far out compared to the lower lip. Aslo, i would think the bottom lip would be thicker then the top. It also looks like her stomach (from the fron/back view) goes in to far comapred to the chest, could just be me though. Good luck on the challenge, have fun, and hope to see more updates soon.

I will base the modeling on this creature I was modeling for a personal project I have with friends... I will use it for the contest to make "one rock two fights" in french in the word :))
Ow looks like a steaks golem :)
Very nice model..I like the girl too ,her body looks great but the head distrurb me a bit
Keep it up :wip:
04-04-2005, 08:04 PM
Thanks a lot for the feedback... I'll improve the head later, when I will have my final comp in 3D with the good camera angle...
04-04-2005, 08:28 PM
hey ncie works here mate... i like the girlls model but as the previous commentator said, the head is kinda off in many ways, u might give it more of ur spacial attention. THat should do it... and another thing, i think using premade models r not allowed in this contest... but if u wanna make something based on ur previous work then it might be okay, but you should consult witht he Leonard guy, or ask the question in the question/answer thread... okay now, i'm off, c ya aroung and good luck
04-04-2005, 09:59 PM
I'll check it with Leonard... it it's right I'll go on the second idea I had... the one with the red beast
and thanks for the feedback :)
04-05-2005, 07:51 PM
I rushly modelled the creature on the skeleton... now i'll smooth it and refine the details
04-05-2005, 09:53 PM
Ok now I'm ok with the base... i put some props... I will play with a lot of leader, sangles, agrafes, plaies, blood, muscles et autres.. bref totalement écorchée la bébête... I will put a lot of holes in the skin
04-07-2005, 08:35 PM
I jsut improved the face again... not very happy with the nose... I'll check it soon, but I want to texture it now...
04-07-2005, 08:37 PM
Very fantastic work all around. I love the face and the body of both characters. Good work. Keep it going! :wip:
04-07-2005, 08:39 PM
Thank your for your encouragments ;))

Hi nelsig, I really liked the creature but the style of your female figure is even better!!
I think the top line of her lower lip and her collarbone lines ara a bit straight, otherwise I just love her...Great stuff mate:thumbsup:

I played a lot with UVs this evening... I hate this... I just tested a shader.. just for fun... ;)
04-09-2005, 05:52 PM
A 3D painted texture for reference... I'll work on it in photoshop
04-09-2005, 09:32 PM
I hate UV process rhhh !
04-09-2005, 10:03 PM
I make a break in the texturing and start another character prensent in the final scene
04-13-2005, 08:53 PM
A quick binding of the servant mesh to put it in the final pose... I'll setup the scene to have a better idea of the final comp
04-13-2005, 09:11 PM
I like your creature, it does look sorta freaky on the sketches. Impressive muscle system you created for the purpose. Cool stuff man!
One thing... about the girl... her face ain't right... some sharp edges there. And the ribs.... you don't really need to see the ribs under the arms on a woman's body... just a bit around the top abdominals is enough, cause now it sorta makes her look real skinny, ever anorexic or so, which is nothing real sexy to my taste.
Anyway, good work so far, good luck!!!
04-13-2005, 09:46 PM
so here is the quick setup for the final image.... it's the general idea...
04-18-2005, 07:54 PM
hope this one is the good one
I'll add the master later or maybe not... his presence would be just suggested with a shadow or maybe not... out of the field like a Carpenter movie...
Hi nelsig,,I just wanna wish you a good luck with your new concept,,,,keep it real.
