Web space all sorted now, so here is my Polygonal Secret Agent project for all to see. Enjoy, or scorn me with unpleasant comments, whichever you prefer ;) .

It is my first proper character (ie. not made of cylinders), and my first decent building. Note that the building only has detail above the lower roof, that is because the model was for still pictures that wouldn't see below here.

you need to work on your lighting. find some pictures and use them as refrence. also, you need to pose your character in a more dynamic pose as well. make us feel like he is really swinging through the air on that rope.

Well, you're off to a good start, and there is certainly room for improvement. The models and textures as they stand right now look like they are almost suited for a realtime game environment. (Maybe they are?) What software are you using?
Anyway, I'm not sure what the project is, but if it is an animated short I think that your meshes and textures would do well to be improved. It is a good start though.

Yeah, the lighting was kind of rushed, and suffered. It was more a modelling project anyway.

It's finished now, handed in to the lecturer. I agree completely with you comments, unfortunately, I couldn't give it a more dynamic pose due to my shoddy boning. It was my first go after all.

The project was to design some sort of secret agent and an environment to put him/her/it in. Since I had never made a human before, I decided to try this instead of some creature or robot type thing. As for finished renders, we just had to have 3 stills.
