I need a question answering for my uni Final Year Project:

Basically, I need to know some basic workflows for the typical level asset/mesh. I'm sure there are many different ways for art production from design to implementation, but I'm looking for personal account on how some of you have done it in an actual project situation.

Would the asset be produced by one artist, or would it be designed by one guy, then modelled and textured by another, then sent to another guy to be imported and placed into the game map?
