don't know if you're looking for comments or not, but you've got a beautiful first sketch here. I would, however, be careful with the subject matter, i wouldn't say change it, but make it your own and try to be completely original as the 'gladiator' image has become very iconic and it'll just take a lot of work to take it out of it's usual cliche norm. great work so far

Hmmm you do have a point there i never thought of doing a gladiator i was thinking more in the ways of greeks, i was going to name the character ARES the God Of War and try new things :D
