Hi there,

This is my first entry into a cg challenge, and I am really into 3D Stuff, just think my idea lends itself better to 2d. Basically my piece is going to be in comic book style and covering the following points. Don't you feel like sometimes that the computer totally dominates us, nothing seems to come out creatively! But then there are other times when we are able to do nothing but magic on these machines. Which then leads to the conclusion that the machine is exactly that, a machine. It does not change. So therefore the common denominator is that we are the unstable ones!!

I did a search on the forum for "computer" and saw that someone has a similar idea in how much time we spend in front of the computers. Hope this does not jeapordise my entry in anyway or theirs. Posting this as I run out the door so will read sticky post later!

All the best,

Nathan

Had a few different ideas for my image.....tell me what you think....

This one is meant to tell how some people let themselves become slaves to work and business and ignore the more important things in life.

This one is a little more abstract in that it shows clone businessmen walking a neverending treadmill while being dominated by a towering building in the middle. Outside of the treadmill there is color and people being happy, someone on the treadmill decides to take that step off the circle, the portion of their body that is off the treadmill would be in color, in contrast to the rest of the clones.

ANyways, a few ideas and probably a whole lot more to come!!
