Hey Crazy NUT...great updates....i can't stop watching her on the neck to chest area though..i think that maybe u need to show more the clavicle(i hope it's the correct word) bones....that way u will show more her feminine lines and the transition to the breast...my humble thoughts

Your trully,

Hi,

That advances always well, just perhaps paid attention, that
that remains comprehensible the size of the station is small on the
challenge and the details prove can readable with this size, I in it
is something. go, go, for the continuation. :bounce:

Pitiwazou -> Thanks RollerMan :D

Raistlin -> Thanks copaing :wavey:

JmBoekestein -> I think only used bump map... too much branches, too much details, I don't think displace must be required... :hmm:

Virtuoso -> yes my friend, always passion :arteest:

DimitrisLiatsos -> clavicle ? I don't now if it's really the good word, but I've understand... hahaha... you're right... it's actually to soft at this place... I'm must increase this shape... Thanks BubbleMan.

Tranchefeux -> yes... I know that, and I apologize, I don't think to that all the time... but I have a head too much hard you know... I continue in this way... and we will see after, if it's a good way or no... thanks to point out it to me Eric.

UK3D -> I'm thinking to the nightmare... really... The next week, I will be in holydays, and only after, I will think seriously to textures... :banghead: Thanks for your comment.

mmbenya -> ;)

to compare to other challenge, you are not fast has you were!
hope you start the texture and finish in time!

yunisirees -> Thanks a lot for comments Habib. :wavey:

Lotah -> Yeah man... everything in her is big... as our passion, no ? :D

Choptider -> You're totally right Jeremy... I have really less time in this challenge than the previous... I work very slowly... I'm working actually on 2 productions with very shorts delays... and a family life filled well... and especially a little baby who asks much attention.

Well, I will see, one thing is sure, I don't know for the moment if I can finish this challenge... answer in few weeks.

Laeticia -> The return of you... good news... thanks to take time to come here... I sincerely hope you can find time to continue your project.

Cygnus_X -> you think that ? crazy stuff ??? ahahahah... like me, no ? :argh:

Pitiwazou -> houlà... "in force" it's a too strong word Céd... hahahahaha :buttrock:

Elendil -> oui... tu m'y fait penser, je pourrais peut-être mettre une chouette dans les branches... :banghead:

Glim -> Tout le monde veux les textures on dirait... j'vais quand même essayer de terminer la mod... huhu :arteest:

uhh lala... fait gaffe (par experience) ça risque de t'imposer beacoup de compositing si tu n'utilise pas assez de ram...

Take care to don't explode the numbers of poly generating too much things, remeber that normally 3D tree models have to many branches and too many foliage in confront of the reality. Try to found a good way between both.

Wonderful work, that come really cool out :applause: she looks so 'natural' ...

Gáll Attila -> Wait a little before falling in depression... it's the same thing for me... there's a lot of better artists here, and when I see their works, I understands that remains me still much of progress to do. We have always something to learn, all days, all our life. The opposite would be certainly very tedious. Thanks for these goods words

Elendil le super -> For this challenge, I don't think to have time to do lo of wallpaper as in the previous...

Ace4016 -> no... that's certainly don't have a true realistic way... but certainly not purple tone for the final... I don't think

Cachottier ? non, pas vraiment... mais de moins en moins de temps, je ne peux vraiment pas être un minimum présent partout... sinon... j'arrête le principal... faire de l'image. and do give right to James... one million of polygon more with these concretes blocks... for the background... symbolizing a palisade carried out starting from certain vestiges of our civilization. According to what will be visible on the final picture, I would add certainly some graffiti on textures.

Looks great, but I think it would be even better if you give the concrete blocks some harder edges (just a humble suggestion as always of course)

I do some tests... and for the moment... I prefer really soft... sweet as the roots form... as natural shape... I don't know if it's a good way... all objects I will add in the scene now, are issue by technology... with shape a bit hard, as our computer, domestic things and so...
But I note... and maybe that will change when I will add remaining details.
This blocks don't need to be too much visible in the background... and soft or hard, I don't know exactly if that will be visible... that depend too of the textures...

Thanks for your true good opinion James...

I'm actually thinking to these details... remain me a lot of work... for the scene, I must create all these objects of our technology...
I will add also behind plane, of the high-tension lines, certainly collapsed on the ground.

but the most important, these humans... servants of this technology... hang to them... I imagine these persons not as us... human but different... just human symbolism... all these human would be naked, but would not seem to have of sex, that would be the human race in general... clutching all these objects, in order to prevent Mother Nature to removing them, and to take again her rights towards the humans...

I think to base there design of a simple skeleton with the simple skin, very thin bodies... only skin on the bones... almost emaciated bodies...

Waa, your work's amazing! The mood will be coming together just fine I see!. Keep it up man, im really dyin to see your progress now!. But remember there will always be that lil final pixel to paint or push! Always something that can enhance it.

But what matters is to be happy with your work yourself, there can only be perfect art in your own heart. And I think your doing an excellent work with sharing that heart!

Cheers

Now, I must send the latest pictures... the design a bit special of the Humano-ID... a human race, without sexe, without eyes... controlled by our domestic technology... the servant...

Lemog

http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/9/5836/5836_1112878937_medium.jpg (http://www.cgnetworks.com/challenge/entries/9/5836/5836_1112878937_large.jpg)

And now enter a new person... in fact, that's will be with some minor differences much person... en entire race... the new human race... plugged by the need to consume all technologies... consume and more consume... only technology. For them, theire life that resume for that.
This race of consumer is the Humano... they're all similar, that their goal is the same, consume... They're kond of clones... no name, only a number.

They are all here, there they all are joined together to prevent Mother Nature from taking again all to them their domestic, technological objects.

Mother Nature will try to take again her rights, because if the human race exist, it's above all thanks to her.

The reason of this design ?

Simple... for this race of technologies consumer, no need to see, no need to eat, no need to work for sure.

No muscle, no grease, no fat guys... only muscles and skin.

As reference... I take the skeleton I do for the MachineFlesh challenge, and I modelized around it... the skin, and this is the result... between human and skeleton...

May be if you open the eyes of your mother nature it will add a stronger mood to your final piece, but that's just a personal thought, she's already nice like that.

... i saw again your concept sketch and your humanoids seems very little on you concept ... so it appears that you'll have a huge number of details as the humanoids seems well even for larger details ... think again in my idea to put you computer in the fridge for the render because of such details ... if you buy a big fridge you'll can put beer too ... a last one before you leave for a week

Fred76 -> In fact, on my concept sketch... there's only 2 or 3 guys, Humano-IDs... cause I have a bit lazy... but for the composition, I think to add a big number of these Humano-IDs... I don't know exactly how much... on the ground, with some materials in their hands, arms... and also hang to the fingers of Mother Nature... and maybe to lianas, etc...

Mr. Waka -> I don't know if roots textures rest like that... I don't think, it's only a ramp with bump... not real textures, but one thing is sure, that offer best read for the picture... to see :D

Pretty cool! They are primitive, these humano-ids, but it somehow makes sense. It would be nice to see how they would look with a more human skin shader though, just for comparison, as there's a slight risk they will blend in with the tree textures a little too much  Just a though of course.

Hello my friend,

Very good work. But I think the humans' texture can be more close to real, so that it is defined as humans in mutation and not other humanoide race . Don't find?

The illumination is perfect. :bounce:

mireneye
04-08-2005, 01:16 PM
Actually, I think their skin looks good. If you think about it, they only depend on 'mother nature' so, they dont really wash themselves 'I guess' they dont really work, or have a home 'I guess again' So, concidering that, I think its natural for them to blend into their environment more. However, not to much blend is needed. Beacuse thet will endanger the humans to dissapear in the image.

Just a question lemog, these humanoids, ar'nt they stretching upon the rule of "100 homo sapien" thing ? Its an annoying rule I think, just asking how you see that rule... Since I think these humaniods ar'nt the same as homo sapien... ? or ?

Keep it up!

sonicstrawbery
04-08-2005, 01:17 PM
OW OW OW GEANT VERT !

The textures looks cool for the moment, just review some points on humano-ID cuz it don't really looks skin actually, maybe more diffusion or more pink/yellow colors...

So your humanoid looks very little, you're gonna put a lot on the scene ?

just another question, do you use SSS shaders in your scene ?

that's it, excellent work, i love the mood

Lemog
04-08-2005, 01:49 PM
JamesMK -> I know, for the moment, he has a similar color that the background, but normally, between all the object, with more contrast... before to change something, I must to be more advanced I think... In fact, I don't have planed to create yet the humano-ID, I planed to create in first these domestical object... I don't have time to do more test before my holydays... but certainly I will test something more human, more pink...

:bounce:

Lotah -> more human yes, but not too much... they already much changed I think... the tests will start again on my return.:wip:

Mireneye -> for these guys... no rule of 100 homo sapiens or then in an unconscious way. it's only the first history which came alone in my head when I read the subject. Without really thinking... strange no ? :argh:

Cipher -> certainly a little bit more of 20 or 25 Humano-IDs, but that depend of the number of objects on the ground...
...for the moment, no SSSShader... but maybe for the future tests...

and see you all in one week :wavey:

hi Lemog. great work. everything looks impressive and thrilling at some point of view. One thing: I wouldn't make mother earth's face look exactly like a common woman. it could be interesting and tempting to show her deformed and not so pretty. I mean who did seen her? it would be like fighting archetypes.
don't get ne wrong. no doubt its a great scene and I like it very much.

For the framing, I'm not sure, but I think the vertical one is better, but this is just my first feeling probably because one may see the godess closer than usual and because of the empty sets for the moment ! :)

Anyway great work Lemog and have nice holidays ! See ya...

Hi Lemog,

Framing? I think you should set the camera hight lower and the target upper. Why? To view her a bit below. Why? It gives her geratness and monumantality, and the viewer him-/herself can feel as a part of the scene. Maybe.. BTW Pretty nice stuffs. Great touch on textures, again. Rock man! :wavey:
