View Full Version : MD3 file exporter for 3ds Max 6
TurboTwo 03-22-2005, 07:35 AM Well, after extensive google searching for a plugin. I have come to the conclusion that there is only one website in the whole world that has this plugin. The website just happens to be down :P
I found the plugin for Max 4.x but it doesn't work for v6. If anyone has the plugin for max 6 it would be greatly appreciated if I could get that from you. Hell I would even put the plugin on my server so other people that are looking for it can get it too!

Well, after about 4-5 hours of search on the web. I had to read through a german forum to find this link. It's about the 3rd of 4th one down.

Md3 is quake?
its been a lONG TIME since ive done map editing, but couldnt we just make oblects in 3ds max and place them in the map level? or is this only for characters

Uh yeah it's quake but also Jedi Outcast (They use the same engine), that's what game I'm working with. I was also building a level with GTKradient. And to import the 3d object I had to convert it too .md3 file.
