Latest Update: Concept Sketch: concept sketch

Inital concept sketch. Please forgive the light, mood to the image, my final 3d image will be indicative of the final depths of despair this chap has sunk to, and will hopefully be full of emotion and sorrow.

Will post a storyline later, as the image will be full of small clues to show what kind of life the man had, and hopefully show what brought him to this situation.

well, now that my schedule has become somewhat reasonable, maybe Ill actually be able to finish this one.

Still churning through ideas, including an incredibly obese man, trapped in his own rotten kitchen, a slave to all the food set before him....

Initial storyline:

The man seen before you was not always this way. He used to be a proud man. A family man. A man with a career and a purpose. All that changed one fateful day, when his family was taken hostage by a devious criminal, earlier sent to prison by our man. Our man was an up and coming agent with the FBI, on the fasttrack for great things in the Bureau. Unfortunately a major mistake, caused by his own stupidity and hubris, ended up in his families demise, and the beginnings of his own.

Stricken by grief from his families death, he quickly spiraled into sorrow, anger, despair and even thoughts of suicide. Unable to end his own life, he turned to food out of disgust for himself. He left the FBI, taking a small pension and holed up in his house. Finding a measure of solace in the foods he ate, he quickly starting eating more and more. He quickly began eating more and more until one day he had to fairly destroy the entrance to his kitchen, just to get through it.

From then on, he had someone from the local store bring his food to his house, as he could no longer make it to the store himself.
==========================================================

I plan on laying out small visual clues that will show his proud beginnings and continue up to his current situation. Should be a fun and challenging story to tell in one image.

Dont know why I didnt get a notification. But anyways, nice concept, hope you start on the modeling soon. Maybe you could add small pictures that the viewer could look at in the picture(if they take the time out) to see earlier pictures. Just a suggestion. Hope to see some more updates soon.
