Impressive work arlutik! I really like the idea of the pupets and the pupeteer! To me, the scene is just perfect
Just a thing i didnīt recognize at first was the candles, i though it was lamps, because i couldnīt distinct their form from the surroundings, meybe because itīs to bright (maybe lowing a little bit the specular level of the surface?).
But thatīs just an opinion, your work is great my friend!
Good luck,
Rafael Martinez

hmmm!
I really like the new add ons to the lighting effects! The foggy era has added so much to it all!
I sort of had expected a bit less 'fog' off the stage.. gives the feel of them being in in no where at early dawn. Don't know. maybe it's just me.. I think it looks great that way, but just doesn't fullfill what I had expected.
Actually if there was an audiance.. some one owould be helping him right... eh .. right?
The other thing is that this light sort of takes from the details of the guy and the fork overpowering him.
But on the other hand this has given a much more realistic effect and also taken away the "Puppet" feel the guy had aswel.
You have one good image in hand now... What can I say Gerard;
Good Luck with your machine-breaking render!

great stuff artulik .. isaw this during the day with sunlight in the room and it was a touch on the dark side but not to bad, .. now that evening is here the rich colors are coming out and i enjoy the piece a lot more ...
i think i agree with authentic about the strong light on the right, but that to me is minor
overall this thing is really strong and lookin sharp

well this is it for today will post one last one before I submit the final.
Your comments are of great help, I try to take in considiration all of them (of course I filter a bit :) )
So here I played with the fog, the flames, played with pierrot's clothes(guy dancing) and made diablo come out a bit more so as the guy pulling on the finger, and made the scen e a bit more bright but it barely shows just enough for ny taste.
Thanx all for your comments it helped and a big thanx to Alexander who tested my image on a calibrated screen, what I don't have been on a laptop)

Ok well I don't what else to do, I broke the regularity in Colombines lower dress and I burned a bit behind the reflector. But otherwise nothing much. Will wait one more day before I post my final incase someone comes up with a really amazing point. By the way i found a title:
La commedia dell'revoluzione
The story goes as followed.
Pinnochio wanting to get a way from these strings the pupeteer force in to where, him who never actually really need any. Told the other puppets that the puppeteer was about to use them as firewood, of course Pinocchio's nose grew longer but the other puppets not aware that his nose grew when he lied, decided to attack the puppeteer to get their freedom back.
And here's a link to a bigger image for those who are interested in the details:

Hi there! I see a beautifull entry here, very dramatic and probably most well done (the visual part is awesome, its just that i donno anything about technical 3d stuff). The expressions and masks really do that final touch on viewers emotions, so I would say that this pic rox!
good luck in voting process! A really good pic!

Congratulations Gerard! It's amazing my friend! Good idea is one of the most important and you have it! Dynamic an dexciting scene you have! This is what makes it an outstaning work! The topic reminds me the film "Being John Malkovich" and i have to say i imagine your work as a cover poster or illustration for that. So in pure words you did it and you can be proud of this image and yourself too!

Gracie Stephano, took me a while to like my image myself, it was a really har peice to do knock my head on walls a few times, calling myself some very bad words for doing such a complex scene, next one I'll try to keep it simple but then again that's what I said for this one.
