brilliant render...absolutely love the modeling.
the pipe and the honey bee comb are very original and the rest well rather leaves me dumbfounded.
imho, the lighting could be reworked a lillte wee bit (esp. near his nose...the specularity could be tweaked slightly) nevertheless the image is visually stunning. classique.

Hi, everybody! Thank you for all comments.:)
I completed this work for about three months (weekend only).
Insects were combined like a jigsaw puzzle......
I was perplexed to the composition for a long time. and....Insects creeping in my head.
Sorry for my English.

That's pretty bad-ass of a puzzle you got there. Love the intricate details of the bugs making out the face. I'm having a tough time, though, with the textures, mainly around the nose/mouth/chin region. For some reason, it does not appear to be of an insect origin, but of rock. I may be thinking, because of the illusion, this area doesn't have enough different textures unlike the rest of the piece. The texture is too "consistent" there, perhaps?
Oh, what do I know? I'm no 3D modeler. I think on a 2D plane. :)
Great job.

I like your monochrome images(I saw your another image in 3dtotal)

depicted images useing fruits flower and insects something.
I just want to say complement for you :)

excellent modelling technique. Quite personally i thought Kafka's metamorphosis was a weak work of literature; this artpiece does it more justice than it deserves quite frankly. Excellent job.

Some of original textures were made from the color ink.
These are the abstract arts that I made ten years ago.

The piece has a grand feeling from the design view and the color pallete is simple yet not dull. The detail on the modeling is definitely top notch with nicly placed objects intersecting each other. Shows off a variety of elements, creative piece!

I have always been intrigued by the double entante or pun or metamprphosis if you will of an idea. Then too I have been a fan of the word picture as a communication device. the use of the insects as the body and perhaps the soul of the man creature tells us more than just "mere words". Using the second segment of the beatle to represent the eye is sheer Kismet. the leather like carapase of the skin was novel seeing as how every thing else was so hard edged . thus you gave us a soft yet hard body. and while the insects looked rather busy the man was quite layed back. Therefore you gave us a metamorphos of opposites. the ying and yang as it were well done. Yours in art Tawneycocker
