View Full Version : Missing frames in Batch Rendering...

Iīv got some black frames in my Rendersequense using Batch Render in Maya4 (some 40 aof 800) -Bad thing...
anyway... I deleted those and...
Isnīt there a flag using MEL command thats render the missing ones on the sequense.

In full hope...

Yep, I'm not at a pc right now, but I remember there's a switch from the commnd line that'll force it to skip existing frames. Open a command prompt and type 'Render', it'll give you a massive list of things you can fiddle with.

Otherwise if you know what frames Maya will number them accordingly and you can just save them into the same folder. Use command prompt and specify the specific frames you want. Like:

c:> e:
e:>cd projectsdrive\project\scenes
e:\projectsdrive\project\scenes>render -cam cameraname -rd e:\ projectsdrive\project\images -s 23 -e 63 project.mb

Notice the -s 23(framenumbers) -e 63
Hope this helps, rudamentary I know, but works.
