Title: Bender The Robot
Name: Matthew Salisbury
Country: United Kingdom
Software: (Other), Photoshop
I used Truespace 6 to create this, I think thats its more true to the character of Futurama than th emany others i have seen which have used too many square shapes whereas even though he is mechanical you must realise that it follows the smoother rounder edges used by Matt Groening.
Let me know what you think :-)

Nice job with Bender. Groening would be proud. Your lighting and the planet go together well. Very believable.

Both bender and the planet look great. I think that if bender is the focus of this image, he should be illuminated better, He's a bit dark at the moment.

Hey, looks pretty good! I am a big fan of Futurama, and Bender. One thing I noticed is that I think you have modeled him a bit chubbier looking than he is on the show. Also, his antena looks a bit small. One other thing if you want to get really technical about it, when he bends is arms and legs, the way it is drawn, the separate "links" or whatever you would call them actually bend instead of staying strait. Imagine a rubber hose painded to look like his arm. These few little coments are really just based on staying true to Benders design. As fan art I wouldn't expect you to really go 100% accurate with him, but if this were to be used for a Futurama game, for example, I think people would expect an exact representation of him.
All in all, good job, and if you decide to go further with him, well hopefully you will find my advice useful.

i wondered about nust maing his arms and legs more hose legs, but im some ways i tried to make it more of a realistci representation of him knowin that his arms and legs were only drawn like that cos its quicker, i have soon to realise the problems with his antennae and body and i did rectify this but unfortunatly the file got all currupt, i think ill make some alterations and put him in a better scene.
Yeh truespace i still around and i hate it! lol, i cant stop using it i should really take time to learn Maya instead lol
