the rest is fine I think

He, this is very nice
I agree on the greyish look, maybe adjust your monitor for the next, or are you perhaps working in CMYK?

Welcome to the board and post some more :)

I think the hair looks really flat compared to the rest of your rendering, to the point where it creates an optic effect where it's competing with his red collar. I think overall, this is a really good start/mid point to the painting. More dramatic lighting could make the image really pop! Good work:buttrock:

bjotto: Great suggestion! I will try to do some adjudsments to it. Thanks!

jeroentje: Thanks 4 the comments! My monitor been acting crazy so adjustment might be a problem.. Will try to post some works btw, seen some of your portfolio, I must say they are mighty impressive!

wildsheepchase: Great suggestion regarding the hair. I agree wif your point on the flatness of hair. Any idea on how to make it more 3d? Thanks!

earthworm: hey liz! thanks 4 saying that my past works are better than my recent ones.. Haha!! Well, as you can see, my colouring has a looonnggg way to go so I will try my best to improve! Will post the drawings soon.

Try to treat the hair more like a solid object, it looks flat couse there's no shadows
