Title: Renault Clio V6
Name: Marco Bertolino
Country: Italy
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay
This is one of my favourite cars ... made with 3dsmax using polymodeling (about 12000 polys before the meshsmooth) and rendered with vray, just some little retouches in photoshop. I'm sorry for the poor environment but I was only focused on the car modeling, anyway I'm working on it in my spare time ;-)
C&C are welcome!
Thanx
Marcuza

the reflections are good... rims look a bit and the material could be more reflective...if you change the black color of the seats and interiors then your renders will start speaking itself.
your modeling is definitely good

Front lights look very strange!Lines are not correct. You should get some hires pictures and fix that problem :)

Awesome. Great details especially the lights. Just a little question for a newbie, what did you do to avoid that line where the two halves of the car come together. Your two halves blend perfectly. Mine always have a ridge. Was it a modifier or what?

abyjoe: I treid working more on the interiors but I was too satisfied with the overall results that after some tweaking I stopped ... ehm, maybe I was just lazy
Readme2: purple? your monitor is wrong ... this is blue! If you talk about the central mirror, well there is, but this perspective hides it.
Li0n: you are right ... there's something different from the original (look also at the door jamb). I decided to take it easy on that, my main goal was simply to obtain an overall realistic result.
FunnyOneFunnyOne: I used the "simmetry" modifier ... if you check "weld seams" it will automatically merge any vertex on the centerplane using a specified tolerance.
Thanx again to *all* of you, I'm proud you liked my work :)
See you soon
marcuza!!! This is one of my favorite cars! and i hate u! it was my project to model it soon and post to cgtalk first!
The new clio v6! Woow!
Never saw it on the street. But your model is pretty damn coool!
Please check the color again because it has more red than the original one. it has some minor proportion mistakes but never mind. Only compare the color with real one. And please put this on a scene!
congrats!
