Hey everyone

ok for example i have a 10 second PAL clip i would like to use as my background for my 3d model to go onto..

now i know how to do this using a still image and front projection..

but my PAL clip has camera movement which i must get my LW camera to match...

is this only way to do this manually ?

i dont have any other programs or match movers or anything and i cant buy any so
how natively can i do this in lightwave ?

thanks a lot

You might want to look at pixelfarm's PFHoe application. It's only about $70 US and is a very capable motion tracking application. When you purchase it you choose which 3D/compositing app you want to be able to export to. The Lightwave export plugin saves a scene file with the camera move baked in, and nulls where the tracking points are. Add your 3D stuff and watch it match the video!

Looks interesting. Have you had a chance to use it? Any feedback on it would be useful :)
